About PropRubric: Independent Crypto Prop Firm Research

PropRubric is an independent crypto prop firm research site run by the PropRubric Research Team. It reads each firm’s own rules, prices and payout terms, records the date of every check, and logs every change, so crypto traders worldwide can see what a challenge really costs and what it takes to get paid, before they pay for it. Every rule, price and payout term on the site names the firm page it came from and the day it was read, following the PropRubric verification method.
| firms tracked | values verified | last check | log entries | closures logged |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 28 | 660 | 23 Oct 2026 | 246 | 3 |
The 246 log entries are 58 rule changes the firms made, 48 corrections of PropRubric’s own record and 140 values added to a firm’s record for the first time, and the three are labelled apart in the log.
Why does PropRubric exist?
PropRubric exists because the pages that list crypto prop firms are rarely checked against the firms’ own documents, and the gap costs traders money. Three findings from PropRubric’s own checks show the gap.
- A listing site named a firm as a crypto prop firm whose own FAQ says it offers no crypto. Fintokei appeared in an aggregator’s crypto category on 29 September 2026, and its FAQ excludes crypto, so PropRubric lists it as checked and excluded.
- A firm dropped a rule and most listings kept showing it. HyroTrader removed its mandatory stop-loss requirement, and on 29 September 2026 review pages still described the rule as active, so PropRubric logged the change with the date.
- Firms closed while directories still listed them as open. PropRubric records each unreachable firm with the date of its last successful check and the reason, instead of leaving the row in place.
Each finding is written to the log of crypto prop firm rule changes with its old value, new value, source and date, and that log is the reason the site is a set of checked values first and a set of articles second.
Who runs PropRubric?
PropRubric is run from Bucharest, Romania, by the PropRubric Research Team, which reads firms’ rules pages, terms and FAQs, saves a dated copy of every page it uses, and logs each change. The team publishes under one byline and no invented names or credentials appear anywhere on the site.
PropRubric was started by a small group of traders who have spent more than eight years in stocks, indices and crypto. The group built the site after losing too much time working out which funding firms could be trusted. The site exists to shorten that search for other traders: a trader at any level should be able to see which firms fit the way they trade before paying a fee.
The team does not sell trading signals, does not accept paid placements and does not give trading advice. What the team does is compare a firm’s published documents with each other and with the firm’s marketing, and write down what it finds.
What does PropRubric cover?
PropRubric covers prop firms whose funded accounts can trade cryptocurrency, and it stops at that border. The site covers three things:
- crypto-first prop firms, whose accounts trade only crypto;
- multi-asset prop firms, for the crypto part of their offer only;
- the rules, prices, payout terms and legal entities of both groups.
The site leaves four things out:
- cryptocurrency exchanges and their own products;
- trading signals, courses or strategy advice;
- institutional proprietary trading firms that hire traders as employees;
- prediction-market and sports “prop” products.
How does PropRubric make money?
PropRubric earns a commission when you buy through the affiliate links it has with some of the firms it tracks, and it publishes only its own discount codes. No commission changes a value, a score or the order of a table, and the rules that keep it that way are on the page about how PropRubric makes money. The site exists so that you know the rules before you buy the challenge.
Corrections, evidence from firms and general questions all go to one contact address, listed on the contact page. PropRubric is also on Facebook, X and YouTube; every PropRubric profile on the web is listed on one page.
