HyroTrader ranks #3 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the lists of crypto prop firms that use Bybit, crypto prop firms for UK traders and crypto prop firms for US traders. The firms that drop its strictest rules are on the HyroTrader alternatives page, and it is set side by side with other firms in HyroTrader vs Breakout and HyroTrader vs Crypto Fund Trader.

HyroTrader's homepage at PropRubric's last check HyroTrader is a crypto prop firm that runs its challenges on your own Bybit or BloFin demo account or on its own Hyro platform, with capital simulated in every phase, including the funded phase, according to its terms.

Yes, HyroTrader is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm: two named companies run it, its Solana payouts carry public transaction IDs, its rules are published, and its pages and terms agree that the trading is simulated. The firm sells Zero-Step, 1-step and 2-step challenges from $59, and its Bybit account trades USDT perpetual futures on simulated capital. The daily limit on every account is static, 3% to 5% of the initial balance below the day’s starting equity, and no single trade is capped.

The firm pays 80% to 90% in USDT or USDC within 24 hours on that account, accepts US traders, and dropped its mandatory stop-loss in 2026, which few firms have done. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

What is HyroTrader?

HyroTrader is a crypto prop firm that sells Zero-Step, 1-step and 2-step challenges on USDT perpetual futures and pays 80% to 90% of simulated profits in USDT or USDC. HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLC, a free-zone company in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (company FDBC5283, licence 47034334), provides the service, and HYROTRADER TECHNOLOGIES LTD, a British Virgin Islands company (2166693), owns the platform and runs the funded phase under a separate agreement. The firm behind the platform was founded in 2023, according to the firm’s About page, and its status is active.

How does HyroTrader work?

HyroTrader’s cycle has four steps, and each step is set out in the firm’s own rules.

  1. Buy a 1-step or 2-step challenge from $5,000 to $200,000 of simulated capital, priced from $59, and trade it on a Bybit or BloFin demo account connected by API or on the Hyro platform.
  2. Pass the profit target of 10% (1-step) or 10% then 5% (2-step) in at least 5 trading days per phase, within a static 4% or 5% daily limit and a 6% or 10% maximum loss, with no day above 40% of the target.
  3. Verify your identity before the funded account is activated, and trade the funded account on the same simulated capital under the same limits.
  4. Request a payout on demand once your funded account is in profit, and receive USDT or USDC within 24 hours, with the challenge fee refunded on the first payout.

The new Zero-Step shortens the cycle to one step: a non-refundable fee from $89 buys a 1-day evaluation with a 10% target, a 3% daily and a 5% maximum loss, and a fixed 80% split. The step most buyers misread is the first, because the Bybit connection sounds like real money, and the next section reads the terms on that point.

HyroTrader's terms stating that trading is simulated, beside its Bybit-connected account

Is HyroTrader’s Bybit account real money?

No, HyroTrader’s Bybit-connected accounts trade simulated capital in every phase, including the funded phase, according to its terms (§3.2). HyroTrader’s pages and terms now agree that the trading is simulated, and the earlier homepage line “real market execution” has been removed. The site footer adds “There is no real-capital stage at any point”, and the terms leave room only for separate agreements that no participant has a right to (§3.6A).

What the Bybit connection does change is where the prices and the interface come from: the account is your own Bybit demo account reached through an API key, orders are placed on Bybit’s interface at Bybit’s per-pair leverage. No order from that account reaches the live order book, per the firm’s FAQ.

What it does not change is whose money is at risk, which is the firm’s simulated balance, and CryptoSlate’s review of HyroTrader, published in 2026, reads the same two entities and the same simulated funded phase from the terms.

The connection puts HyroTrader first among the crypto prop firms that use Bybit, and it costs what the next section prices.

How much does a HyroTrader challenge cost?

HyroTrader challenges cost $59 to $1,299, from the $5,000 2-step to the $200,000 1-step, and no add-on is sold since the Swing daily-drawdown upgrade was removed. The new Zero-Step’s 1-day evaluation costs $89 to $949, and its fee, unlike the 1-step and 2-step fee, is not refunded.

Account sizezero-step1-step2-step

$10,000$169$129$119

$50,000$629$499$379
$100,000$949$749$579
$200,000—$1,299$969

Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric

No add-on exists, and one price note applies to the table. The Swing add-on, the upgrade that fixed the daily limit from the start-of-day balance for $29 to $419 extra, was removed when every model moved to a static daily limit. No split upgrade is for sale either: the split rises from 80% to 90% on the 1-step and 2-step at HyroTrader’s discretion, and increases are not automatic.

The price note is the refund: the 1-step and 2-step fee is refunded with the first payout, and the struck-through “original” prices on the checkout, which equal the sale price divided by 0.9, are not presented here as discounts.

No free trial is sold, but the firm runs a free trial account in a simulated environment whose performance “is not eligible for withdrawals or profit payouts”, per its FAQ.

What does HyroTrader cost per $10,000 of funding?

HyroTrader costs $129.90 per $10,000 of funding on the $200,000 1-step and $276.00 on the $5,000 1-step, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price, divided by the account size in $10,000 units.

account size1-step, no add-onZero-Step, no add-on2-step, no add-on
$5,000$276.00$356.00$236.00
$10,000$258.00$338.00$238.00
$50,000$199.60$251.60$151.60
$100,000$149.80$189.80$115.80
$200,000$129.90—$96.90

The cost per $10,000 halves between the smallest and the largest account, and the refund on the first payout returns the 1-step or 2-step base fee in full, which no other cost line on this page does. The price buys a rulebook, and the rulebook is what decides whether the refund is ever paid.

What are HyroTrader’s trading rules?

HyroTrader’s trading rules are a static daily limit, a static maximum loss, a consistency rule in the evaluation, a minimum of 1 to 5 trading days and a 30-day inactivity rule, with no per-trade loss cap. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.

What are HyroTrader’s drawdown limits?

HyroTrader allows a 3% daily drawdown and a 5% maximum loss on the Zero-Step, 4% and 6% on the 1-step, and 5% and 10% on the 2-step, and both limits are static. The daily limit is measured from the equity at 00:00 UTC, and the maximum loss from the initial balance.

The static daily limit replaced the trailing Standard limit and the paid Swing upgrade, and the FAQ that once explained the difference between the two now states that “Every HyroTrader challenge uses a static daily drawdown”. The maximum loss is also published as a static floor that “does not trail a high-water mark”, per the funded-trader agreement (§7.3), so PropRubric records it as static rather than “not published”.

Which trading restrictions does HyroTrader have?

PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at HyroTrader, and the firm publishes eleven of them; the twelfth, a per-trade loss cap, no longer exists.

  • Stop-loss required: ✗ not mandatory (changed in 2026; the requirement to place a stop within 5 minutes was dropped).
  • Per-trade loss cap: ✗ none; the 3% cap on one position was removed, and the terms keep only a discretionary power to cap “your maximum position size, or your maximum risk per trade idea”.
  • Consistency rule: ✓ no single day counts for more than 40% of the profit target on the 1-step and 2-step, and no single trade for more than 50% on the Zero-Step, evaluation phases only.
  • Minimum trading days: ✓ 1 on the Zero-Step, 5 on the 1-step, 5 per phase on the 2-step.
  • Time limit: none.
  • News trading: ✓ allowed, unless the strategy is based solely on news.
  • Weekend holding: ✓ allowed, and overnight holding too.
  • Hedging: ✓ allowed inside one account; ✗ prohibited across accounts.
  • Copy trading: ✗ prohibited, with account mirroring and external signal providers.
  • Bots and API: ✓ allowed if the strategy is your own.
  • Multiple accounts: ✓ allowed up to $400,000 across evaluation challenges and $200,000 across funded accounts.
  • Inactivity: ✓ the account fails after 30 days with no trade.

The per-trade cap had replaced the stop-loss requirement and is now gone too, and how such caps compare across firms belongs on the page about stop-loss and per-trade loss rules.

What can you trade at HyroTrader, and with how much leverage?

You can trade USDT perpetual futures at HyroTrader, more than 700 pairs on Bybit and the Hyro platform and more than 80 on BloFin, at leverage you set yourself.

venuepairsleverage
Bybit demo account via API700+ USDT perpetualsup to 150x on BTC and ETH per the homepage, up to 100x per the platforms FAQ; 50x to 100x on most altcoins
Hyro platform (live Bybit market data)700+ USDT perpetualsup to 100x+, depending on the pair
BloFin demo account via API80+ USDT-M futuresup to 150x on BTC and ETH

Leverage is adjustable by the trader, per the FAQ, so the binding limits on a position are the daily and maximum loss floors, not the multiplier. Spot pairs are not offered on any venue, so every position is a perpetual. The Tealstreet and Tiger.com terminals are a further venue on Bybit market data, not available to US traders, and the Cleo terminal is closed to new challenge purchases.

How do HyroTrader payouts work?

HyroTrader pays 80% of profits, up to 90% at its discretion on the 1-step and 2-step, in USDT or USDC on demand once the funded account is in profit, within 24 hours of a request. Each request is capped at 5% of the initial balance, with a $100 minimum after the split, and profit above the cap is not paid.

Three conditions apply: identity is verified before the funded account is activated, all positions are closed before a request, and the 1-step and 2-step fee refund is added to the first payout. The payout feed shows Solana transfers with a transaction ID, “secured by Fireblocks”, while Tron payouts are sent but not published. The firm states $8,897,496 paid, an average payout time of 10 hours 41 minutes and 98.7% paid within 24 hours, all the firm’s own figures.

An on-chain transaction ID proves that HyroTrader sent that amount to a wallet at that time; it does not show that the funded account traded real capital, which the terms say it did not.

How the funded account’s payouts work across the whole class of firms, from the split to the transfer, is explained in how crypto prop firm payouts work.

Who can trade with HyroTrader?

Yes, HyroTrader accepts US and UK residents: its FAQ states that “The U.S. and the U.K. are not on that list”, the list of prohibited jurisdictions in its terms. The terms list 23 countries and five regions of Ukraine that may not join, from Afghanistan, Belarus and Cuba to Iran, North Korea and Russia.

HyroTrader verifies identity before the funded account is activated, not before the evaluation, so a document problem delays funding rather than the purchase.

Is HyroTrader legit?

Yes, HyroTrader is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm. The evidence for that firm is that it has two named companies in its terms, a public payout feed with on-chain transaction IDs, published rules and a history of operation since 2023, per its About page. The contradiction PropRubric once recorded, between the homepage’s “real market execution” and the terms’ “simulated”, is gone: the homepage line was removed, and the firm’s pages and terms both say simulated.

  • Status: active.
  • Operator and jurisdiction: HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLC (RAKEZ, UAE) provides the service; HYROTRADER TECHNOLOGIES LTD (BVI) runs the funded phase.
  • Operating since: 2023, per the firm’s About page; Prop Firm Bridge’s audit of 14 September 2026, which gave 2022, classified the firm as “PFB Verified at 88/100” on the strength of an identifiable entity, current legal documents, exchange-connected products and a public payout history.
  • Payout evidence: a public feed and dashboard with Solana transaction IDs since April 2026 (Tron payouts unpublished); TheStreet reported in 2026 that every vault payout “executes as a Solana blockchain transaction with a publicly verifiable transaction ID”, and the firm announced an on-chain protocol on Solana on 8 July 2026, per TradingView’s Chainwire feed. HyroTrader is absent from Payout Junction’s 33-firm table, which tracks Rise and direct-crypto wallets and lists Propr among its direct-crypto rows.
  • Complaint signal: Finbold’s 2026 review notes that the firm “does not impose any geographical restrictions”, which the restricted list in the current terms now contradicts. Finbold describes the firm as suited to traders in high-volatility markets; PropRubric found no regulator notice naming either entity, and Trustpilot showed 4.0 from 229 reviews, with the firm replying to every negative review.
  • Contradictions found: the homepage and How to start give Bybit up to 150x on BTC and ETH, while the platforms FAQ gives Bybit up to 100x; the older homepage line “real market execution”, which contradicted terms §3.2 “simulated”, has been removed, and review pages still described a stop-loss requirement as active after the firm dropped it.
  • Named people: the firm’s founder and CEO is Samuel Drnda, per a firm press release of 26 January 2026 that dates the founding to early 2023, the year the About page now gives; the other named sources on this page are the Prop Firm Bridge audit, Finbold’s reviewer and TheStreet’s newsroom.

A firm’s rules and status change over time, so the last question is what has changed at HyroTrader recently.

What are the alternatives to HyroTrader?

Three firms differ from HyroTrader on its weakest attributes, the consistency rule in the evaluation and the 5% cap on each payout request, and each card names the difference; how PropRubric scores firms sets out the five criteria behind every score on this site.

  • Breakout: a 3% daily limit recalculated from the balance excluding open positions at 00:30 UTC, no consistency rule, no minimum days and no published cap on a payout request, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company under Kraken’s ownership with USDC payouts on Ethereum only. The two firms are compared side by side in HyroTrader vs Breakout.
  • Crypto Fund Trader: no consistency rule outside its Break accounts, no minimum trading days and Bybit as one of three platforms, from $40; a Swiss-run firm whose payouts come after 15 traded days. The two firms are compared side by side in HyroTrader vs Crypto Fund Trader.
  • Propr: USDC payouts on chain on demand with no cap per request, no consistency rule and no minimum days, from $25; a British Virgin Islands firm that labels each trade A-book or B-book.

Firms without the consistency rule or the payout cap are listed among the HyroTrader alternatives.
