Prop Firm Profit Split Calculator: Payout After Fees

The profit split calculator gives the payout you receive from a simulated profit after the firm’s split, its payout fee and any network fee, and the net you keep after the challenge fee, an add-on and the resets you paid. The split, the fee, the refund rule and the payout fee are filled from 38 plan presets across the crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks.

Calculator

Worked example (static values when JavaScript is off). A $5,000 profit at Crypto Fund Trader on a $100,000 Break account: split 80%, your share $4,000, no payout fee, challenge fee $199 plus a $328 activation fee after passing, one failed attempt before it at $199.

You receive $4,000 and net $3,274 after the $726 spent, 65% of the gross; the firm publishes no fee refund. The same $5,000 at HyroTrader’s $100,000 2-step ($579): share $4,000, and on the first payout the $579 fee comes back, so you receive $4,579 and net $4,000, 80% of the gross.

How do you use the profit split calculator?

The profit split calculator needs five inputs, and a firm preset fills four of them.

  1. Pick a firm preset to load the split, the challenge fee at $100,000, the refund rule and the payout fee.
  2. Enter the gross profit on the account, before the split.
  3. Check the split and, if you bought the higher split, enter the add-on’s price as a share of the fee (20% at Breakout and Crypto Fund Trader).
  4. Enter the resets or failed attempts you paid, as a total in dollars, and which payout number this is, so the refund lands on the right one.
  5. Read your share, what you receive, what you spent and the net, which the sentence gives as a share of the gross.

The five inputs feed a formula that a ROI calculator leaves three terms out of.

How is a prop firm payout calculated?

A prop firm payout is calculated as the gross profit times your split, minus the firm’s payout fee and any network fee, plus the challenge fee if this payout returns it, and the net is that amount minus everything you paid to get funded.

Formula

your share = gross profit × split % you receive = your share − payout fee % × your share − network fee + fee refund (on the payout that returns it) spent = challenge fee + add-on price + resets net = you receive − spent

Four variables carry the calculation, and the first is the split. The split is 80% at most crypto-first firms, 70% at Klein Funding and Funded Trader Markets’ 2-Step Plus, 90% at TradeXProp and FTMO’s 1-step, 60% on Bitfunded’s Instant plan. The split rises to 90% or more by performance, by a paid add-on or at the discretion of firms such as HyroTrader. The payout fee is 0 at most crypto-first firms, 5% on crypto rewards at Funded Trader Markets, 3.5% per withdrawal at The5ers and 3% at AquaFunded.

The refund returns the fee with the first payout at HyroTrader (except Zero-Step), FTMO’s 2-step and RebelsFunding, the second at Dolvero, the third at Bitfunded’s 2-step and WenCrypto, the fourth at Goat Funded Trader, and never at Breakout, Velotrade, SizeProp, Propr and HyperPNL.

The resets are the fees of the attempts that failed, which Tradezella’s ROI formula, “ROI = (Net Profit × Profit Split − Challenge Fee) ÷ Challenge Fee × 100”, counts once. The net that comes out is a share of the gross, and three bands say what it means.

What does your result mean?

Your result is the net as a share of the gross profit, and three bands tell you what the deal was.

net as a share of grosswhat it meanswhat to do
75% or morethe split is the only cost; the fee was recovered or small against the profitthe account is paying; compare the next challenge’s fee per $10,000 before buying another
50% to 75%the fee, resets or a payout fee took a quarter or morecount the resets: two failed attempts at $199 cost as much as the firm’s 20% split on $2,000 of profit
under 50%the attempts cost more than the firm’s sharethe fee, not the split, decides this firm’s price; the cheapest route to the same account size is the number to compare

The fee per $10,000 of funding, with one reset and the refund rule counted, is ranked three ways for every firm on the list of the cheapest crypto prop firm challenges, which is the page to read when the third band appears.

What do you keep from a $10,000 profit at Funded Trader Markets vs Breakout?

You keep $8,000 of a $10,000 profit at Breakout and $8,550 at Funded Trader Markets on its Nitro plan after the payout fee, and the challenge fees and the refund rule change the net in the other direction.

The example is two firms’ terms on one profit; the preset table below carries the split, the add-on, the refund rule and the payout fee for every plan.

Twenty-six of the presets start at 80%, one publishes no split, and twelve carry a refund on a numbered payout; every value is the firm’s own. The calculator assumes the firm pays the full share on request; real payouts can be smaller when a firm caps a payout, such as Goat Funded Trader’s $3,000 per crypto transfer or Upscale’s cap per 14-day period.

What doesn’t the calculator include?

The calculator does not include four things, and each one can change what arrives in the wallet.

  • Per-payout caps, such as $3,000 per crypto payout at Goat Funded Trader, $1,500 per crypto transaction at The5ers and the per-period caps at Upscale.
  • Tax, which the payout attracts as income in most countries and which depends on the rest of your income.
  • Exchange-rate and processor fees on bank or Rise payouts at the multi-asset firms.
  • The first-payout wait, which decides when the money moves, not how much.

Every calculator on the site, including the ones for drawdown, position size and consistency, is listed on the hub of crypto prop firm calculators. The same arithmetic set against your own capital, with pass rates and expected fees, is a separate question from what one payout returns, and none of those calculators answers it. The six steps a payout takes before the split is paid are on the page about how crypto prop firm payouts work.
