PropW Review 2026: Rules, Fees, Payouts and Is It Legit?

PropW ranks #15 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the list of crypto prop firms with static drawdown.
PropW is the CoinW exchange’s prop-trading product, run by a separate Dubai company on CoinW’s infrastructure, that sells USDT-denominated evaluations priced from $15 and pays 80% of simulated profits into a CoinW account every 14 days.
Yes, PropW is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm: its docs name PropW Innovations DMCC, its rules are published in a public rulebook, and Trustpilot reviewers report withdrawals under those rules. PropW’s own pages disagree on whether trades reach CoinW’s order books and on how often it pays. What pays is the firm’s funded stage, a simulated “Training Account” paying “scholarship” rewards. The daily limit on that account is measured on a UTC+8 day, and the floors are static.
Payouts from that account are capped per request at the profit target and gated by a consistency ratio of 40% on the One-Step and 45% on the Two-Step, and the terms exclude the United States and Pakistan.
Beyond the payouts, the rulebook closes any position held for ten days, a rule no other crypto prop firm in the census has. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

PropW is a crypto prop firm that sells one-step and two-step evaluations on about thirty USDT and USDC perpetual pairs plus gold, in its own app built on CoinW’s infrastructure. The firm pays 80% of simulated profits as a “Scholarship Allocation” into the trader’s CoinW asset account. PropW Innovations DMCC, a Dubai company, operates the product, whose docs call the funded stage a “Training Account” in “PropW’s simulated training environment” and whose promotions state that “CoinW reserves the right to interpret”.
Identity checks run through CoinW, fees can be paid from a CoinW wallet, and payouts land in a CoinW account. The firm also sells HourTrader, a separate one-to-eight-hour challenge on a $10,000 simulated account, which this review does not cover.

How does PropW work?
PropW’s cycle has four steps, and each step is set out in the firm’s rulebook.
- Buy an evaluation from 1,000 to 100,000 USDT, priced from $15, on the One-Step or the Two-Step plan, with no identity check to register or trade.
- Pass the profit target of 10% (or 5% then 10% on the two-step) with three profitable days per phase, each above a size-scaled minimum, and close every position before the review, which takes one to three business days.
- Receive the Training Account, the simulated funded stage, and trade for 14 calendar days before the first scholarship application.
- Apply for a scholarship payout once per 14-day cycle, with a consistency ratio at or below 40% (One-Step) or 45% (Two-Step), up to the plan’s profit-target amount per request, after basic identity verification, and receive USDT in your CoinW asset account within 24 to 48 hours.
The step most buyers misread is the operator, because “launched by CoinW” reads as the exchange itself, and the next section reads the documents on that point.

Is PropW the same company as CoinW?
No, PropW is PropW Innovations DMCC, a Dubai company that runs on CoinW’s infrastructure: identity checks run through CoinW, fees can be paid from a CoinW wallet, and payouts land in the CoinW asset account. The firm’s About page and footer describe simulation and educational services, and its rulebook calls the funded stage a simulated “Training Account”.
A payout-proof page, read by Prop Firm Bridge on 15 September 2026, says trades are executed on CoinW’s real order books, and PropRubric follows the rulebook and the user agreement.
The Trustpilot company text, unlike the rulebook, supplies the marketing side: “Launched by the prominent Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinW”. The same Trustpilot text’s “up to $200,000” also exceeds the 100,000 USDT largest account on the pricing page.
Evidence
| quote | source |
|---|---|
| “The Training Account allows participants to continue practicing their trading skills within PropW’s simulated training environment while becoming eligible for Scholarship Rewards” | PropW Evaluation Program & Training Account Rules, §II |
| “Launched by the prominent Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinW, PropW offers traders the opportunity to qualify for substantial funding, up to $200,000” | PropW’s Trustpilot company description |
| “the current payout-proof page says trades are executed on real CoinW order books” | Prop Firm Bridge, PropW review, 15 Sep 2026 |
The distinction matters for two reasons: the entity a trader contracts with is the DMCC company, not the exchange, and the payout rail is an internal CoinW ledger rather than a blockchain, so no transaction hash exists for a reader to check. The same structure, an exchange’s storefront with a separate operating company, is the one PropRubric found at Kraken Prop, and the Kraken Prop review sets out how an exchange-run programme differs from a crypto-native firm.

How much does a PropW challenge cost?
PropW challenges cost $15 to $999, from the 1,000 USDT Two-Step to the 100,000 USDT One-Step, with no add-on to buy and frequent promotions.
| Account size | one-step | two-step |
|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | — | $15 |
| $5,000 | — | $69 |
| $10,000 | $149 | $99 |
| $15,000 | $199 | — |
| $25,000 | $299 | — |
| $50,000 | $499 | $399 |
| $100,000 | $999 | $799 |
Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric
No add-on exists, and three price notes apply. The first price note is the promotion cycle: buy-one-get-one offers, 20% to 30% discounts and cashback vouchers ran through 2026, and the list prices above are the ones recorded, because a promotion can end at any time. The second note is the plan names: Prop Firm Bridge recorded “Standard”, “Hard” and a newer “Expert” plan with different targets and prices on 15 September 2026.
PropW’s rulebook and pricing on PropRubric’s read carried the One-Step and Two-Step names above, so the firm’s product line changes faster than its pages. The third note in the pricing is the refund: the user agreement calls the fee non-refundable at purchase, but the withdrawal rules refund the full challenge fee with the first successful profit withdrawal.
What does PropW cost per $10,000 of funding?
PropW costs $159.80 per $10,000 of funding on the 100,000 USDT Two-Step and $300.00 on the 1,000 USDT Two-Step, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price, divided by the account size in $10,000 units.
| account size (USDT) | Two-Step | One-Step |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | $300.00 | — |
| 5,000 | $276.00 | — |
| 10,000 | $198.00 | $298.00 |
| 50,000 | $159.60 | $199.60 |
| 100,000 | $159.80 | $199.80 |
The per-request payout cap changes what these units buy: a 10,000 USDT one-step account pays at most 1,000 USDT per 14-day request, so the account’s profit target is also its withdrawal ceiling. The floor decides whether any fee behind that account is recovered, and the rules are the next section.
What are PropW’s trading rules?
PropW’s trading rules are a daily limit on equity per UTC+8 day, a static floor on both plans, three profitable days per phase above a size-scaled minimum, a ten-day maximum holding period, margin caps per position and a consistency ratio at payout. Those rules set the ratio at 40% on the One-Step and 45% on the Two-Step. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.
| Rule | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Daily drawdown | one-step: 4%; two-step: 5% | docs.propw.com |
| Daily reset (UTC) | trading day counted in UTC+8 (16:00 UTC) | docs.propw.com |
| Maximum drawdown | one-step: 6%; two-step: 10% ($1K–$10K), 8% ($50K–$100K) | docs.propw.com |
| Drawdown type | static — "the maximum decline from the initial account balance" (One-Step 6%; Two-Step 10%/8%); daily = equity decline within a UTC+8 trading day | docs.propw.com |
| Consistency rule | one-step: Consistency Ratio (max single-day net profit ÷ cumulative net profit) ≤ 40%, and cumulative net profit > 0; above the cap the trader keeps trading, no reset; two-step: Consistency Ratio ≤ 45% (same definition) Two of PropW's three pages give 40% for One-Step and 45% for Two-Step (withdrawal rules items 18–19; packages table); the rulebook gives a single 45%. PropRubric records the per-plan figures, the stricter for One-Step, and lists the rulebook's 45% as a contradiction. | docs.propw.com |
| Profit target | one-step: 10%; two-step: 5% then 10% | docs.propw.com |
| Minimum trading days | 3 profitable days, each above a size-scaled threshold (0.7% at $10K down to 0.2% at $100K) | docs.propw.com |
| Time limit | unlimited evaluation (1K two-step: 15 days); Training Account suspended after 30 days without trades, 15-day reactivation window | docs.propw.com |
| Weekend trading | yes by default (no weekend or overnight ban stated), but every position is force-closed by market order 10 calendar days after opening, 'weekends and public holidays' included; an internal funding rate 'calculated dynamically' from the long/short distribution is charged (rate and interval not published); Hour Trader accounts must be flat before the 1–8 hour timer ends | docs.propw.com |
| Leverage | 5x on all pairs | docs.propw.com |
What are PropW’s drawdown limits?
PropW allows a 4% daily drawdown on the One-Step and 5% on the Two-Step, and a 6% maximum drawdown on the One-Step and, on the Two-Step, 10% on the 1,000 to 10,000 USDT accounts and 8% on the 50,000 and 100,000 accounts, and both are measured on equity. The daily limit is the most the equity may fall within a trading day counted in UTC+8, and the maximum limit is “the maximum decline from the initial account balance”, which is a static floor.
The UTC+8 day is the detail to set a clock by: a trader in Europe or the Americas sees the daily limit reset in the afternoon or morning rather than at midnight, and a position carried across 16:00 UTC starts a new day’s allowance. A daily limit whose day starts in a different time zone is the case worked through on the page about daily drawdown in crypto prop challenges.
Which trading restrictions does PropW have?
PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at PropW, and the firm publishes six; news trading, hedging, copy trading, bots, the stop-loss and weekend holding are not addressed in the rulebook PropRubric read.
- Stop-loss required: not published as a rule.
- Per-trade loss cap: margin caps instead: 15,000 USDT per position on BTC and ETH, 5,000 USDT on other pairs, 200,000 USDT in total, at 5x; no position cap on the Training Account beyond the total.
- Consistency rule: ✓ the best single day may not exceed 40% (One-Step) or 45% (Two-Step) of cumulative net profit in the scholarship cycle, checked at each application; a ratio above the cap pauses the application rather than ending the account.
- Profitable days: ✓ 3 per phase, each above a minimum that scales from 0.75% on 1,000 USDT to 0.2% on 100,000 USDT.
- Time limit: none in the evaluation (15 days on the 1,000 USDT two-step); a Training Account with no trades for 30 days is suspended, with a 15-day reactivation window.
- Holding period: ✗ any position open for more than 10 calendar days is closed by the system, in the evaluation and when funded.
- News trading: not published in the rulebook read; the docs index lists a “Can I trade news?” page without a stated answer.
- Weekend holding: not published as a rule; the 10-day position limit is the only holding rule stated.
- Hedging: not published in the rulebook read.
- Copy trading: not published in the rulebook read.
- Bots and API: not published in the rulebook read.
- Margin use when funded: margin utilisation of 70% or more is “high-risk behaviour” that may trigger warnings or intervention.
The ten-day holding limit is the restriction a swing trader should read first: a position that runs for two weeks is closed by the system on day ten whatever its profit, and the rule applies on the funded account as well.
What can you trade at PropW, and with how much leverage?
You can trade about thirty USDT and USDC perpetual pairs at PropW, plus gold, with some FX, index and stock pairs listed and delisted by announcement, in the PropW app at 5x on every pair.
| pair group | leverage | margin cap per position |
|---|---|---|
| BTC, ETH perpetuals | 5x | 15,000 USDT (75,000 USDT position value) |
| other listed pairs | 5x | 5,000 USDT (25,000 USDT position value) |
The pair count is taken from the firm’s funded-stage list, which changes by announcement, and the leverage is fixed across the list.
How do PropW payouts work?
PropW pays 80% of profits as a “Scholarship Allocation”, into the trader’s CoinW asset account, one request per 14-day cycle from 14 days after the Training Account is activated. Each payout request is capped at the plan’s profit-target amount and gated by the consistency ratio, 40% on the One-Step and 45% on the Two-Step, with a review of 24 to 48 hours.
Payout terms
| split | first payout | frequency | minimum | currency + network | speed | proof |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80% | 14 calendar days after activation | one request per 14 days | 1 USDT | USDT credited to the CoinW asset account (internal ledger) | 24–48 hours per the rulebook; 1–2 business days per the withdrawal page | firm payout-proof page (“$1.6M+”, firm-reported) |
Three payout conditions apply, and the third is the one to read twice. Firstly, all positions have to be closed at the payout application, and cumulative net profit in the cycle has to be above zero. Secondly, the consistency ratio, the best day divided by the cycle’s net profit, has to be at or below 40% on the One-Step or 45% on the Two-Step, and a trader above it keeps trading until more profit lowers the ratio.
Finally, the maximum per request equals the plan’s profit-target amount, 1,000 USDT on a 10,000 USDT one-step, so a large month is paid to the trader over several cycles rather than at once. One homepage line promising withdrawals to the trader every seven days conflicts with the rulebook’s 14-day cycle, which PropRubric records.
Payout Junction, which records only payouts matched to a public blockchain wallet, did not list PropW at PropRubric’s last check. The split, the rail and the proof are compared across every firm on the page about how crypto prop firm payouts work.
Who can trade with PropW?
No, PropW’s restricted list names the United States, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, Pakistan and 23 other jurisdictions, “including but not limited to” that list. Pakistan is among the five largest sources of searches for crypto prop firms, and its inclusion is the line most readers of this page will need.
Who can join
| US status | restricted countries | KYC timing | platform exceptions |
|---|---|---|---|
| no | mainland China, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, North Korea, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Cambodia, United States, Canada, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Mali, Zimbabwe, occupied regions of Ukraine, Netherlands (“including but not limited to”) | none to register or trade; basic KYC (name, date of birth, country) before the first withdrawal; CoinW C1/C2 verification at 10,000 and 50,000 USDT cumulative | PropW app and web only |
PropW verifies identity at the first withdrawal through CoinW’s tiers rather than at purchase, so a trader in a restricted country can buy and pass before the exclusion is applied.
Is PropW legit?
Yes, PropW is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm. The evidence is that its docs name PropW Innovations DMCC, its rulebook is public and detailed, and Trustpilot reviewers report withdrawals within 48 hours. The two cautions PropRubric found beside that evidence are a set of first-party pages that disagree with each other on execution and payout timing, and a review profile whose one-star entries describe rule changes applied to traders mid-evaluation.
- Status: active at PropRubric’s last check.
- Operator and jurisdiction: PropW Innovations DMCC, Dubai (ALMAS Tower, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, per Prop Firm Bridge); a separate company from CoinW that uses its infrastructure.
- Operating since: 2024; the Trustpilot profile was claimed in May 2024 and the firm ran a prop-trading hackathon in Kuala Lumpur in October 2024.
- Payout evidence: a firm payout-proof page reporting about $1.6 million in rewards; no on-chain record, because the rail is CoinW’s internal ledger; absent from Payout Junction at PropRubric’s last check.
- Complaint signal: Trustpilot 3.4 from 66 reviews at PropRubric’s last check, three of them within twelve months, with the firm replying to 50% of negative reviews; one-star reviews describe delayed withdrawal reviews (September 2025), a rule change that made Phase 1 passers retake Phase 1 (May 2025) and a free challenge ended mid-evaluation (May 2025); Prop Firm Bridge scored the firm 21 out of 100 on 15 September 2026 and reported a guideline-breach notice on the profile that PropRubric did not see on its own read.
- Contradictions found: simulated “Training Account” against “real CoinW order books”; seven-day against 14-day payout cycles; a single 45% consistency ratio in the rulebook against 40% for the One-Step on the withdrawal page and the packages table; a homepage FAQ that implies funding after Phase 1.
- Named people: none on the pages read; Prop Firm Bridge’s research team wrote the review cited.
A firm’s rules and status change over time, so the last question is what has changed at PropW recently.
What has changed at PropW?
PropW’s change log holds 4 rows since PropRubric’s first check on 29 September 2026, 2 of them firm-side rule changes and the others PropRubric’s own corrections and additions to its record.
The plan names a risk-first reviewer recorded two weeks before that check differ from the ones on the rulebook, which PropRubric will log when the firm’s own pages show the change.
One change the firm’s own pages do show is in the withdrawal rules: a 1 USDT minimum, no limit on total withdrawals and a full fee refund with the first successful withdrawal.

What are the alternatives to PropW?
Three firms differ from PropW on its weakest attributes, the per-request payout cap, the consistency ratio and the execution conflict, and each card names the difference.
- Kraken Prop: an exchange-run storefront with no consistency rule and no payout cap, paid into a Kraken wallet, from $20; the same Breakout programme under Kraken’s ownership.
- Breakout: no consistency rule, USDC on demand from $50 of profit, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company with static floors.
- Cointracts: a crypto-native firm with payouts requested every 24 hours in USDT, from $24.90; a Dubai firm with its own consistency and margin rules.
PropRubric’s ranking of the best crypto prop firms scores every firm on the same five criteria, set out in how PropRubric verifies crypto prop firm rules, and the cards above are where PropW’s three weak attributes are absent.
