Bitfunded vs Breakout: Fees, Rules and Payouts (2026)

Breakout wins on payout reliability as each firm documents it, the criterion that separates Bitfunded and Breakout most. Breakout pays on demand from $50 in USDC on Ethereum, under one contract per stage, with a public leaderboard. Bitfunded pays USDT up to twice per 30 days within 24 hours, verifies identity only at $10,000 of cumulative profit, and states its fee refund differently in its FAQ and its terms.
Breakout is cheaper at entry ($20 against $79) and per $10,000, Bitfunded offers a 2-step with a 10% first-phase floor and more models, and both firms trade simulated capital by their own description.
Eight differences and one match between the two firms follow, ordered by weight, then the prices by size, the rules side by side, the payout terms, who can join, the trust evidence and the conditions under which each firm is the right choice.

What is the difference between Bitfunded and Breakout?
Bitfunded and Breakout differ in eight ways that change what you pay or how you can fail, match on one, and the first difference is how each firm documents its payouts. Bitfunded is a crypto prop firm whose terms of use name Tronovix LTD in the United Arab Emirates as its operator, whose unique attribute is a range of four models including a timed one-to-eight-hour challenge.
Breakout is a crypto prop firm sold by Breakout Trading Group, LLC in Delaware and funded by Payward Oceanic Ltd. in the Kraken group, whose unique attribute is the shortest rulebook in the census.
- Payout reliability, as documented: Breakout publishes one payout rail, one minimum, one approval window and a leaderboard, with a contract per stage; Bitfunded publishes a frequency of up to two per 30 days and a 24-hour processing time, leaves the network unpublished, and states the fee refund as the third successful payout in its FAQ and the first profit split in its terms. Reliability here means documented conditions and their contradictions, not a prediction of future behaviour.
- Price: Breakout’s Turbo starts at $20 for $5,000; Bitfunded’s 2-step starts at $79.
- Leverage: Breakout applies 10x on BTC and 5x on about 20 majors; Bitfunded applies 1x to 5x on every plan.
- Drawdown: Bitfunded’s 2-step allows 5% a day and 10% overall in the first phase, 8% after, static, with the reset time unpublished; Breakout allows 3% a day, recalculated at 00:30 UTC, and a static 3% to 6%.
- Models: Bitfunded sells a 2-step, a 1-step, an Instant plan and a Day Trader challenge; Breakout sells three 1-Step plans, with Spark sold out on 29 September 2026.
- Inactivity: Bitfunded’s FAQ answers “No to both” on minimum days and an inactivity rule; Breakout suspends a funded account after 90 days without a trade.
- KYC timing: Bitfunded verifies identity at $10,000 of cumulative profit; Breakout verifies through SumSub before the funded account.
- Operator disclosure: Bitfunded names Tronovix LTD in its terms and nowhere else; Breakout names two companies, one with a public SEC filing, and an exchange group owns it.
- Trading fee: both charge 0.04% per side, the one commercial term on which the firms match.
The full record of Bitfunded’s values, with the source and date for each, and the evidence on whether the firm is still paying, is in the Bitfunded review. The difference most buyers weigh first is the price, and the next section prices both firms by size.
Which is cheaper, Bitfunded or Breakout?
Breakout is cheaper than Bitfunded at every size from $5,000 to $100,000 on a like-for-like one-step evaluation, Breakout’s Classic against Bitfunded’s 1-step. The gap is $54 at $5,000 and $199 at $100,000 against Bitfunded’s 1-step. Against Bitfunded’s cheaper 2-step the gap is $34 at $5,000 and reverses at $100,000, where Classic costs $1 more. Bitfunded’s refund with the third payout narrows the gap only for a trader who reaches three payouts.

Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric
Per $10,000 of funding at $100,000, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price divided by the size in $10,000 units, Bitfunded’s 2-step costs $159.80 and its 1-step $199.80. Breakout’s plans cost $66.00 on Turbo, $109.00 on Pro and $160.00 on Classic. Breakout’s Classic, whose 6% floor is closest to Bitfunded’s 2-step first phase, therefore costs 20 cents more per $10,000 than Bitfunded’s 2-step and $1 more at the $100,000 sticker.
Add-ons and refunds change that sticker total. The add-ons are Breakout’s 90% split, which costs 20% of the fee at checkout, and Bitfunded’s Instant plan, which runs from $129 for $2,500 at a 60% split.
The refund is Bitfunded’s: the firm returns the 2-step fee with the third successful payout per its FAQ, while Breakout keeps the fee at any outcome. The fee buys a rulebook, and the two rulebooks differ on the rows below.
How do Bitfunded’s and Breakout’s rules compare?
Bitfunded’s and Breakout’s rules differ on twelve rows of the table and match on two, and the row that fails the most traders is the daily limit, where Bitfunded publishes the larger number and Breakout publishes how it is measured.

| Copy trading ● | Not published | not allowed (third-party signals and cross-user copying prohibited) |
| Leverage ● | 1x–5x | BTC: 10x; ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, DOGE and ~20 others: 5x; ENA, HYPE, PEPE and ~8 others: 3x; smaller alts: 2x; XYZ100/S&P500: 10x; spark indices: up to 40x |
| Account limits ● | Not published | $200,000 total across funded accounts |
The daily limit is the worked example. On a $10,000 account the daily limit allows a $500 loss on Bitfunded’s 2-step and $300 on Breakout. The daily floor at Bitfunded is undefined between resets, because the firm does not publish whether the floor is set from the balance or the equity, or when the day resets. So a trader cannot compute it at 03:00 UTC, while the Breakout floor is a number for the next 24 hours from 00:30 UTC.
The rows that match at Bitfunded and Breakout are the drawdown type, static from the starting balance at both firms, and the minimum trading days, zero at both; the trading fee of 0.04% per side also matches, in the summary table above.
The rows Bitfunded leaves unpublished, the daily reference and the three strategy rules, are the rows a trader has to ask support about before buying. Breakout’s own values for the same rows, and the four document conflicts its review found, are in the Breakout review.
Which pays out faster, Bitfunded or Breakout?
Breakout pays out faster than Bitfunded by its own stated terms. Breakout pays on demand with an approval of 12 to 24 hours, against Bitfunded’s payout available up to twice per 30 days and processed within 24 hours, and Breakout’s rail and minimum are published where Bitfunded’s network is not.
| Payout term | ||
|---|---|---|
| Payout terms ● | currency: USDT; frequency: up to 2 per 30 days (standard); 1 per month (instant); processing: within 24 hours | frequency: on demand, 24/7; min usd: 50 (after split); method: USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only; speed: approval 12–24h, usually quicker; conditions: no open positions; not breached; KYC done |

| Payout proof ● | Not published | public payout leaderboard (lifetime payouts by trader name); not on-chain links |
| Fee refund ● | 2-step only — fee returned with third successful payout | none — evaluation fees are non-refundable |
The condition on Bitfunded’s side is the activity rule, two closed trades of at least ten minutes per payout period, three on Instant, plus the KYC step at $10,000 of cumulative profit that can land in the middle of a payout cycle. The condition on Breakout’s side is the single payout rail.
Neither firm’s payouts appear in an independent tracker, so both proofs are the firms’ own leaderboards, and Bitfunded’s is the one with a July 2026 ForexPeaceArmy complaint alleging an approved withdrawal that never arrived, one account and unadjudicated.
Who can join Bitfunded and Breakout?
Breakout publishes its access rules and Bitfunded does not: Breakout does not list the United States among its 24 restricted countries and verifies identity before the funded account, while Bitfunded publishes no country policy and verifies identity at $10,000 of cumulative profit.

A Bitfunded trader learns the firm’s country policy, if one exists, at the KYC step. A Breakout trader learns it from three lists that disagree on the count: 21, 22 or 23 countries per Prop Firm Briefing’s audit, and 24 entries in the terms PropRubric read.
Is Bitfunded or Breakout more trustworthy?
Breakout carries the heavier evidence of the two, and both are operating crypto prop firms. Breakout names two companies, one with an SEC filing, under an exchange group’s ownership, while Bitfunded names one company in its terms alone and leaves its reset time, country policy and payout network unpublished.

Prop Firm Bridge’s review of Bitfunded, the one ranking page that compares the two, states that “Breakout ranks higher because current rules and payout conditions are simpler and Kraken ownership adds a strong institutional signal”. The firms’ own documents support the first half of that sentence row by row: Breakout’s rulebook is shorter and more consistent on payouts, while both rulebooks contradict themselves somewhere.
Should you choose Bitfunded or Breakout?
Breakout is the choice for a trader who buys on price, payout terms and published floors, and Bitfunded is the choice for a trader who needs a 10% first-phase floor, a wider model range and no inactivity rule. Breakout wins the price, payout and disclosure rows; Bitfunded wins the drawdown-room and model rows, so the deciding rule is the one your strategy meets first.
Choose Bitfunded if you:
- run a 2-step strategy that needs a 5% daily limit and a 10% floor in the first phase;
- want an Instant plan, a $150,000 size or a timed one-to-eight-hour challenge;
- trade in bursts with gaps, because no inactivity rule applies;
- can accept a payout twice a month in USDT on a network the firm has not published, and KYC at $10,000 of profit.
Choose Breakout if you:
- want the cheapest entry at $20 for $5,000, or $330 for $100,000 on Turbo;
- want a payout on demand from $50 under one contract per stage;
- want a static floor and a daily limit you can compute from the 00:30 UTC balance;
- can receive USDC on Ethereum and nothing else, and will trade at least once every 90 days when funded.
The closest alternatives differ on exactly the payout rail, for a trader whom neither firm’s rail fits.
What if neither Bitfunded nor Breakout fits?
Three alternatives differ from the pair on the payout rail, and each card names the attribute.
- Kraken Prop: the same programme as Breakout sold inside Kraken Pro at $20 for $5,000, with payouts to a Kraken wallet in USD or USDG instead of USDC on Ethereum; the same two limits, 5x on BTC and ETH, and Canada, India and the United Kingdom restricted.
- HyroTrader: payouts on demand once the funded account is in profit, in USDT or USDC with on-chain transaction IDs for its Solana payouts and the One- and Two-Step fee refunded with the first payout, from $59; a UAE and BVI firm trading on your own Bybit or BloFin demo account or its Hyro platform.
- Velotrade: weekly payouts in USDC or USDT on Arbitrum with an Arbiscan link per transfer and a static floor on every plan, from $40; a Hong Kong firm with five qualifying days per phase.
