Crypto Fund Trader ranks #7 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the lists of highest-leverage crypto prop firms, prop firms that pay out in crypto and crypto prop firms that use TradingView. It is set side by side with other firms in Crypto Fund Trader vs Breakout and HyroTrader vs Crypto Fund Trader.

Crypto Fund Trader's homepage at PropRubric's last check Crypto Fund Trader is a crypto prop firm that offers up to 715 crypto pairs on MT5, Match-Trader or a Bybit venue, all on demo capital, in its own words “all demo, no real capital involved”.

Yes, Crypto Fund Trader is an operating crypto prop firm with published rules and prices and a payout policy in its terms, and its terms name its legal entity, SWISS RLCRATES AG in Zug. The open gap at Crypto Fund Trader is a “proof of reserves” page that lists no reserves. The firm sells Instant, 1-Phase, 2-Phase, Ascend and Break accounts from $40 and a $1,000 evaluation for $1, and its Bybit venue is one of three platforms on simulated accounts.

The 2-Phase plan allows 5% daily and 10% static drawdown, and the 1-Phase trails a 6% maximum while the Instant plan’s 6% is fixed by exclusion. The firm pays 50% to 90% in USDT, BTC, ETH or by bank after 15 traded days on every plan, and it accepts US residents on two of its three platforms, as few firms state. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

What is Crypto Fund Trader?

Crypto Fund Trader is a crypto prop firm that sells Instant, 1-Phase, 2-Phase, Ascend and Break challenges on more than 900 instruments and pays 50% to 90% of simulated profits in USDT, BTC, ETH or by bank transfer.

The firm is run by SWISS RLCRATES AG, registered CHE-162.567.204 at Bahnhofstrasse 21, Zug, Switzerland, per its terms, with CEO Alan Sanchez and a November 2022 founding date per PropFirmMatch, and its Instagram profile calls it “the first crypto prop firm, since 2022”. Crypto Fund Trader’s status is active, with its checkout selling every model and the $1 trial.

How does Crypto Fund Trader work?

Crypto Fund Trader’s cycle has four steps, and the third differs from most firms because the firm’s own FAQ says the funded stage is demo too.

  1. Buy an evaluation from $2,500 to $200,000 of simulated capital, priced from $40 for a $5,000 1-Phase account, or the $1,000 trial for $1, and choose MT5, Match-Trader or the Bybit venue at checkout.
  2. Pass the target of 10% on the 1-Phase, 8% then 5% on the 2-Phase, or 10% per “double up” on the Instant scaling path, with no minimum trading days and no time limit.
  3. Trade the funded stage on the same demo capital, in the firm’s words “It’s all demo, no real capital involved”, with an 80% split on the 1-Phase and 2-Phase live stage.
  4. Request a payout after 15 traded days or every 30 calendar days, weekly with a paid add-on, and receive it in USDT on Ethereum or Tron, BTC, ETH or by bank in about 8 hours on average.

The platform choice in step one is the reason most buyers arrive here, and the next section reads what the Bybit option is.

Does Crypto Fund Trader trade on Bybit?

Yes, Crypto Fund Trader offers Bybit as one of three trading platforms, next to MT5 and Match-Trader, but every account is a demo account with no real capital, according to its own FAQ. The Bybit venue is a sub-account connected through the firm’s API, and PropFirmMatch’s firm page records the execution on it as “simulated” with “Direct API” integration.

Evidence

“It’s all demo, no real capital involved”cryptofundtrader.com (homepage / FAQ)
“Only USDT trading pairs are allowed on Bybit accounts. Trades placed on USDC pairs will not be counted”CFT’s Bybit platform rules, as listed on PropFirmMatch

Four rules apply on the Bybit venue and nowhere else: no extra funds may be added to the assigned sub-account, the API connection may not be disconnected or modified, spot trading is prohibited, and only USDT pairs count toward the evaluation. The connection decides where prices and fills come from, not whose money is at risk. The firm’s own commission line makes the same point about prices: on Bybit the trader pays “native Bybit fees” with no markup, while on MT5 and Match-Trader the firm charges 0.0325% per side.

The Instant plan’s scaling path, from $2,500 to $1,280,000 of simulated capital in 10% steps, is the value that puts the firm first among the firms with instant funding, the instant funding crypto prop firms, and it is priced in the next section.

How much does a Crypto Fund Trader challenge cost?

Crypto Fund Trader challenges cost $40 to $1,798, from the $5,000 1-Phase to the $200,000 Ascend, with a $1 trial for a $1,000 2-Phase evaluation sold in 500 units.

Add-ons and refunds: a weekly payout add-on replaces the 15-traded-day cycle for 20% of the evaluation price. The terms list three more add-ons, 20% for a 90% split, 15% for a 6% daily limit and 25% for a 12% maximum, and the firm publishes no refund of the challenge fee.

The Break account, $199 upfront and a $328 fee after passing for $100,000, carries a 40% single-day consistency rule that the other models do not. PropRubric’s earlier price range for the models had the 1-Phase and 2-Phase labels swapped, and the table above is the corrected ladder.

What does Crypto Fund Trader cost per $10,000 of funding?

Crypto Fund Trader costs $72.60 per $10,000 of funding on the $100,000 Break, $123.80 on the $100,000 1-Phase and $950.00 on the $10,000 Instant account, computed as the full fee plus one failed attempt, divided by the account size in $10,000 units. A failed attempt on the Break costs only the upfront fee, because the activation fee is due after passing.

account size1-Phase2-PhaseInstantBreak
$5,000$160.00$232.00$960.00—
$10,000$160.00$220.00$950.00—

$100,000$123.80$132.00—$72.60
$200,000$119.90$125.00——

The Instant account costs about six times the 1-Phase per $10,000 because it skips the evaluation and starts at a 50% split; the Break account is the firm’s cheapest funding per $10,000, even with its activation fee, and the one with the consistency rule. Whether the low price of the Break account is worth it is a question the rules answer.

What are Crypto Fund Trader’s trading rules?

Crypto Fund Trader’s trading rules are a 5% or 4% daily limit reset at 00:05 UTC, a static 10% maximum on the 2-Phase, a trailing 6% on the 1-Phase and a 6% maximum on Instant that the FAQ fixes by exclusion. The rules add no minimum trading days, no stop-loss requirement and a consistency rule on Break accounts only. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.

What are Crypto Fund Trader’s drawdown limits?

Crypto Fund Trader allows a 5% daily drawdown and a 10% maximum drawdown on its 2-Phase plan, measured static from the account balance at 00:05 UTC. The 1-Phase plan allows a 4% daily and 6% trailing maximum, and Instant allows a 4% daily and 6% maximum whose type the firm fixes by exclusion.

The daily reference is the account balance at 00:05 UTC on the 2-Phase, per the FAQ, so an open position’s unrealized loss does not lower the next day’s reference. The trailing floor on the 1-Phase is the rule to weigh against its lower price.

Which trading restrictions does Crypto Fund Trader have?

PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at Crypto Fund Trader, and the firm publishes eight of them.

  • Stop-loss required: ✗ no, per the general rules.
  • Per-trade loss cap: none published.
  • Consistency rule: ✓ 40% single-day profit cap on Break accounts only; none on the other models.
  • Minimum trading days: 0.
  • Time limit: none.
  • Reverse trading: ✗ opposite-direction trades open at the same time for 60 seconds or more are prohibited.
  • Daily or per-trade profit cap: ✓ $10,000 (“gambling rule”).
  • Maximum allocation: $300,000 combined across 1-Phase and 2-Phase accounts; at most three Instant accounts, $30,000 in total.
  • Hedging: ✗ across accounts, “even if the accounts are registered under different email addresses”.
  • Copy trading: ✗ coordinated activity may cost the reward ticket or the evaluation.
  • Bybit venue: no added funds, no API changes, no spot trading, USDT pairs only.
  • News trading, weekend holding, bots: not published by the firm in the pages PropRubric read.

The reverse-trading rule and the $10,000 profit cap are the two that catch traders who pass elsewhere, and how consistency caps compare across firms belongs on the page about consistency rule caps by firm.

What can you trade at Crypto Fund Trader, and with how much leverage?

You can trade up to 715 crypto pairs and more than 900 instruments in total at Crypto Fund Trader on MT5, Match-Trader or the Bybit venue, at up to 1:100 on crypto on the larger accounts and 1:5 on the smaller ones. On MT5 and Match-Trader, the terms (§6) give 1:100 only to “Advanced” accounts, the $50,000 to $200,000 2-Phase and the $100,000 to $200,000 1-Phase.

Every Instant, Ascend and Break account and the 2-Phase and 1-Phase accounts up to $25,000 get crypto 1:5 on those two platforms, and Bybit accounts get “up to 1:100”. The FAQ’s Break section gives every Break account 1:100, against the terms’ 1:5, and PropRubric records the terms.

PropFirmMatch’s firm page lists more than 100 cryptocurrencies on MT5 and 46 on the CFT Platform, fewer than the firm’s own pages count. The firm’s pages disagree with one another: the challenge page gives +715 crypto pairs on Bybit and +540 on MT5 and Match-Trader, and the FAQ gives 550+ on Bybit and 556 on MT5 and Match-Trader. The Bybit venue trades USDT perpetuals only, while gold returned to the firm’s instrument list on 15 July 2026, per the firm’s announcement on PropFirmMatch.

How do Crypto Fund Trader payouts work?

Crypto Fund Trader pays 80% of profits on the 1-Phase and 2-Phase live stage, and 50% rising to 90% on the Instant plan. Those profit payouts come in USDT, BTC, ETH or by bank, after 15 traded days or every 30 calendar days, with the first payout on the same schedule.

Three conditions apply: identity is verified before the first reward is processed, the $10,000 profit cap and the reverse-trading rule are checked at review, and the Instant plan pays on demand only after 10% profit, 15 active days, or 30 days without 10% profit.

The firm announced on 20 September 2026 that eligible payout requests are processed “in under 1 minute”, with the eligibility rules unchanged, per its announcement on PropFirmMatch.

No payout proof outside the firm exists: the page the firm titles “Proof of Scholarship Reserves” is a table of named users’ simulated account performance, not a record of transfers or of reserves.

Who can trade with Crypto Fund Trader?

Partly, Crypto Fund Trader accepts US residents on Match-Trader and the Bybit venue but not on MT5, according to its platform terms. The firm publishes no restricted-country list in the pages or terms PropRubric read.

Who can join

US statusrestricted countriesKYC timingplatform exceptions
partial: allowed on Match-Trader and Bybit; MT5 not available to US residentsnot publishedbefore the first reward is processedMT5 excluded for US residents

Crypto Fund Trader verifies identity before the first reward, not before funding, so a document problem delays the first payout rather than the account.

Is Crypto Fund Trader legit?

Yes, Crypto Fund Trader is an operating crypto prop firm with published rules, prices and payouts, but its “proof of reserves” page lists no reserves and no payout proof exists outside the firm. Seven evidence lines about the firm follow in the fixed order.

  • Status: active; the $1 trial and every model on sale.
  • Operator and jurisdiction: SWISS RLCRATES AG, Zug, Switzerland, with disputes to the courts of Zug, per the firm’s terms; CEO Alan Sanchez per PropFirmMatch’s firm page.
  • Operating since: November 2022, per PropFirmMatch and the firm’s Instagram profile (”+$21M in payouts”, a firm claim).
  • Payout evidence: none outside the firm; the “Proof of Scholarship Reserves” page lists users’ simulated performance, and the firm’s payout-proof article describes its own withdrawals. Payout Junction’s 33-firm table does not list the firm, and propfirmpayouts.io’s tracker table did not render behind its bot check, so that list stays unread.
  • Complaint signal: ForexPeaceArmy carries a complaint dated 30 July 2026 alleging a blocked payout, one account and unadjudicated; a Reddit post from two years earlier alleges reconciliation problems on the demo software; PropFirmMatch shows 4.1 stars from 109 reviews, and Trustpilot showed 1,101 reviews with the rating withheld for “a breach of our guidelines”, under the notice “We’ve removed a number of fake reviews for this company”.
  • Contradictions found: the “proof of reserves” name against the page’s content; the store names “Accelerated” and “Evaluation” against the FAQ’s “1-Phase” and “2-Phase”.
  • Named people: Alan Sanchez (CEO, per PropFirmMatch); no journalist has covered the firm in the sources PropRubric read, and the four “featured in” logos on its homepage link to one syndicated press release, not to reporting.

What are the alternatives to Crypto Fund Trader?

Three firms differ from Crypto Fund Trader on its weakest attributes, the 15-traded-day payout wait and the trailing 1-Phase floor, and each card names the difference; how PropRubric scores firms sets out the five criteria behind every score on this site.

  • Breakout: payouts on demand from $50, a static maximum on every standard plan, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company under Kraken’s ownership. The two are compared side by side in Crypto Fund Trader vs Breakout.
  • HyroTrader: payouts on demand once the funded account is in profit, in USDT or USDC with on-chain transaction IDs, from $59; a UAE and BVI firm whose account trades your own Bybit or BloFin demo account, or its Hyro platform. The two are compared side by side in HyroTrader vs Crypto Fund Trader.
  • Klein Funding: your own Bybit account connected by API for tracking, a static maximum on its Bybit One-Step and Two-Step, from $35.63; a Delaware-registered firm with payouts in 4 to 24 hours.
