Cointracts ranks #10 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms.

Cointracts's homepage at PropRubric's last check Cointracts is a Dubai no-KYC crypto prop firm that sells one-step and two-step challenges priced from $24.90 and pays 80% of simulated profits in USDT on Tron, with payout requests allowed every 24 hours once funded.

Yes, Cointracts is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm: its terms name a Dubai Media City company, its rules are in a public FAQ, and its payout leaderboard lists individual payments. Against the firm, its Trustpilot score is 2.1 from 96 reviews and its pages give two different payout timelines. The accounts at the firm are simulated by its own footer, and its daily limit counts floating losses.

The two-step floor tightens from 10% to 8% once funded, and funded payouts on those accounts pass a 50% best-day ratio and a 70% margin cap with penalties. The firm publishes a restricted list in its footer, and its funded rules allow bots and copy trading while banning every form of hedging, a mix few crypto prop firms share. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

What is Cointracts?

Cointracts is a crypto prop firm that sells one-step and two-step challenges from $2,000 to $100,000 on crypto futures in its own platform, and pays 80% of simulated profits in USDT on the Tron network. Cointracts Prop FZ-LLC, “a legally recognised limited liability proprietary trading firm in the United Arab Emirates” per its terms, operates from Dubai Media City under the law of Ras Al Khaimah.

The footer of the firm states that all accounts “operate in a simulated trading environment” and that “no real capital is involved”. The firm markets no KYC, “fast and daily payouts” and a leaderboard claiming more than $300,000 paid out per month, and its Trustpilot profile carries a “may be associated with high-risk investments” label beside a 2.1 score.

How does Cointracts work?

Cointracts’ cycle has four steps, and each step is set out in the firm’s FAQ and terms.

  1. Buy a challenge from $2,000 to $100,000, priced from $24.90, on the 1-Step or the 2-Step plan, paid in crypto or by UPI in Indian rupees, with no identity check.
  2. Pass the profit target of 10% (1-step) or 8% then 5% (2-step) within the daily limit, the floor and the 70% margin cap, over at least three days per phase on the 2-step and no minimum on the 1-step.
  3. Receive the funded account, called the Trader Stage, whose 2-step floor tightens from 10% to 8%.
  4. Request a payout of $100 or more once the 50% profit-day ratio is met, then once every 24 hours, and receive USDT on Tron within three to seven business days.

The step most buyers misread is the fourth, because “daily payouts” is on the homepage and the timelines are in three documents, and the next section reads all three.

Are Cointracts’ payouts really daily?

No, Cointracts’ payouts are not simply daily. The firm’s FAQ allows one payout request every 24 hours, the homepage says payouts can be requested any time after funding, the terms credit profits to a withdrawable balance on a monthly profit-split day, and payment takes up to seven business days. PropRubric follows the terms on timing. Before any request, two funded gates in those terms apply.

The first gate on a funded account: the best single day must be strictly below 50% of the total of all positive days. The second gate: combined open margin must stay strictly below 70% of the balance at every moment, with penalties of 50% to 70% of the payout when it does not.

On the penalties, a Trustpilot reviewer wrote on 28 September 2026 that a ratio of 49.9% was not enough, that the request went by email, and that no calculation was provided.

Evidence

“After your first payout, you may submit a new request once every 24 hours, with no fixed limit on the number of payouts.”Cointracts FAQ, “How soon can I request my first payout?”
“Traders are given the option to select their Profit Split Day within a ten (10) day window from the commencement of trading each month. In the absence of a selection, the default Profit Split Day will be designated as the last day of the trading month.”Cointracts terms of use, withdrawal section
“Cointracts typically processes withdrawal requests within three (3) business days of submission, and in any event no later than seven (7) business days.”Cointracts terms of use, withdrawal and payout methods

The homepage now matches the FAQ, but the two timelines left are not the same rule seen from two angles: a request cadence of 24 hours and a monthly profit-split day describe two different calendars. A trader who plans cash flow needs the calendar that applies to their account in writing.

Prop Firm Bridge, which audited the same pages on 14 September 2026, wrote that traders “should not have to reconcile several live company pages to answer basic questions about payout timing”. The USDT payout rail itself is compared with the other firms’ on the list of prop firms that pay out in crypto.

How much does a Cointracts challenge cost?

Cointracts challenges cost $24.90 to $799, from the $2,000 2-Step to the $100,000 1-Step, with no add-on to buy and a buy-one-get-one promotion running since 15 September 2026.

Account size1-step2-step
$2,000$32.90$24.90
$5,000$89$69
$10,000$119$89
$25,000$279$229
$50,000$469$399
$100,000$799$639

Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric

No add-on exists, and three price notes apply. The first price note is the ladder itself: Prop Firm Bridge recorded a higher 2-step ladder on the firm’s landing page on 14 September 2026 ($49.80 at $2,000 rising to $1,278 at $100,000, before any discount). PropRubric’s read of the pricing page gave the figures above. So the firm’s pages carry two ladders with different figures, and the checkout is the only price that binds.

The second note is the promotions: discount offers and a buy-one-get-one campaign ran at the time of reading, and no promotion is ever applied to a price shown here. The third note is the refund: fees are non-refundable once purchased, except for duplicate charges or verified technical issues.

Section 10 of the terms adds a “Refundable Fee”: the fee actually paid comes back in cash to the payout wallet, on the 2-Step after the first paid funded payout and on the 1-Step only after the third paid payout cycle.

What does Cointracts cost per $10,000 of funding?

Cointracts costs $127.80 per $10,000 of funding on the $100,000 2-Step and $356.00 on the $5,000 1-Step, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price, divided by the account size in $10,000 units.

account size2-Step1-Step
$2,000$249.00$329.00
$5,000$276.00$356.00
$10,000$178.00$238.00
$50,000$159.60$187.60
$100,000$127.80$159.80

The $2,000 account is cheaper per $10,000 than the $5,000 account on both plans, which is unusual and follows from a $2,000 fee set below the ladder’s line. The floor decides whether any fee is recovered, and the rules are the next section.

What are Cointracts’ trading rules?

Cointracts’ trading rules are a daily limit that counts floating losses, a floor that tightens on the 2-step once funded, three minimum days per 2-step phase and none on the 1-step, and a 70% margin cap at every stage. The rules add a 50% profit-day ratio when funded, bots and copy trading allowed, and hedging banned in every form. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.

What are Cointracts’ drawdown limits?

Cointracts allows a 4% daily drawdown on the 1-Step and 5% on the 2-Step, and a 6% maximum drawdown on the 1-Step and 10% on the 2-Step, with the 2-step’s floor tightening to 8% at the funded stage, and both count floating profit and loss. The FAQ says an open position that reaches the daily limit terminates the account “immediately”, and the firm does not publish whether the floor is fixed at the starting balance or trails.

The undisclosed floor type is the gap a buyer should close in writing before paying, because a 6% trailing floor and a 6% static floor end accounts on different days, and the firm’s pages do not say which one applies. How the two floor types end an account on different days is worked through, in dollars, in PropRubric’s comparison of trailing and static drawdown.

Which trading restrictions does Cointracts have?

PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at Cointracts, and the firm publishes ten; the reset time and the news rule are not stated.

  • Stop-loss required: not published as a rule, though the FAQ’s “Risk Management Standards” expects “predefined exit planning” and may classify uncontrolled exposure as excessive risk at payout review.
  • Per-trade loss cap: ✓ combined open margin strictly below 70% of the balance at all times, in the challenge and when funded; some plan cards add a 2% loss per trade idea.
  • Consistency rule: ✓ the best single day strictly below 50% of the total of all positive days, funded accounts only, checked at the first payout request.
  • Minimum trading days: ✓ 3 separate days per 2-step phase; none on the 1-step.
  • Time limit: none; an account inactive for more than 30 days may be closed.
  • News trading: not published.
  • Weekend holding: ✓ allowed; overnight and weekend positions are “fully allowed”.
  • Hedging: ✗ not permitted within the same account, across accounts or through coordinated trading.
  • Copy trading: ✓ allowed, per the FAQ, with the trader responsible for the tool’s activity.
  • Bots and API: ✓ EAs and algorithmic trading allowed, per the same FAQ answer; no IP-address restrictions.
  • Multiple accounts: ✓ several challenge accounts under one profile; one funded account per account type at a time; no merging.
  • Margin-cap penalties: 50% of the payout at 70–79% peak usage, 60% at 80–89%, 65% at 90–95%, 70% at 96–100%; more than one violation in a period triggers a full manual review with penalties up to 100%.

The margin-cap penalty is the restriction with the widest gap between a rule and its cost: on a $100,000 account, one moment of $70,000 in combined margin halves the next payout, and the FAQ measures usage at peak exposure rather than at the close.

What can you trade at Cointracts, and with how much leverage?

You can trade crypto futures at Cointracts in the firm’s own platform at leverage up to 1:5, and the firm publishes no pair count.

marketleveragevenue
crypto futures (pair count not published)up to 1:5Cointracts platform, simulated

The homepage’s “100X capital access” is a marketing phrase about account size, not a leverage figure, and a Trustpilot reviewer noted on 28 September 2026 that the dashboard’s daily and maximum loss figures updated about ten minutes behind the platform.

How do Cointracts payouts work?

Cointracts pays 80% of eligible profits, with promotions advertising up to 100%, in USDT on the Tron network, from a $100 minimum, on a profit-split day chosen each month or by requests every 24 hours after the first, within three to seven business days.

Payout terms

splitfirst payoutfrequencyminimumcurrency + networkspeedproof

Three payout conditions apply, and the third is the one to read twice. Firstly, all open trades have to be closed and the eligible profit has to reach $100 at the payout request. Secondly, the 50% profit-day ratio has to hold, and a ratio at or above 50% has the request “rejected or refunded” until further profitable days lower it. Finally, the 70% margin cap applies to the same request and is checked at peak exposure over the payout period, and a breach applies a penalty of half or more of the payout, so the amount paid can be far below the amount earned.

Payout Junction, which counts only payouts matched to a public blockchain wallet, did not list Cointracts, and the firm’s leaderboard is the only payout record. The split, the rail and the proof are compared across every firm in PropRubric’s explanation of how prop firm payouts work.

Who can trade with Cointracts?

Partly: Cointracts publishes its restricted jurisdictions in the site footer, described as locations under FATF, European Union and United Nations restrictions, rather than as a list of countries. The FAQ says that list may change, and PropRubric records the US status as not published. No identity check is marketed at any stage, whatever the trader’s status, and the terms collect a name, address and date of birth at sign-up.

A Trustpilot reviewer based in the Philippines wrote on 28 September 2026 that support answered only in Dubai business hours and not at weekends, which is a practical access limit the pages do not state.

Is Cointracts legit?

Yes, Cointracts is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm. The evidence for that firm is that its terms name Cointracts Prop FZ-LLC in Dubai Media City, its rules are in a public FAQ, and its leaderboard lists individual payouts. The two cautions PropRubric found beside that evidence are a Trustpilot score of 2.1 with a high-risk label, and a set of first-party pages that give two payout timelines and two price ladders.

  • Status: active.
  • Operator and jurisdiction: Cointracts Prop FZ-LLC, Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates; governing law of Ras Al Khaimah.
  • Operating since: 2024 per Prop Firm Bridge; the Trustpilot profile was claimed in July 2025.
  • Payout evidence: a company leaderboard claiming more than $300,000 per month and 30,000 traders; no on-chain record; absent from Payout Junction.
  • Complaint signal: Trustpilot 2.1 from 96 reviews, 93 of them within twelve months, with the label “this company may be associated with high-risk investments”, no recent invitations to review and replies to 49% of negative reviews; a cluster of one-line one-star reviews between 5 and 12 July 2026 during a buy-one-get-one campaign; detailed one-star reviews on 1 and 28 September 2026 about rejected payouts and support; Prop Firm Bridge scored the firm 29 out of 100 on 14 September 2026.
  • Contradictions found: two payout timelines; 8% then 5% targets on the FAQ against 5% then 8% on homepage blocks; three minimum days against five on older blocks; two price ladders; “no real capital is involved” against “real capital” in FAQ wording.
  • Named people: none on the site; Prop Firm Bridge’s research team wrote the review cited.

What has changed at Cointracts?

The change log for Cointracts holds 4 rows, 2 of them changes the firm made, and the rest are PropRubric’s additions to its own record. One difference between the firm’s own pages, the two price ladders, is recorded above rather than logged, because neither page carries a date. Two later changes to the same pages are logged: the homepage dropped the 14-trading-day wording, and section 10 of the terms now holds the fee refund, paid in cash after the first paid payout on the 2-Step and the third on the 1-Step.

What are the alternatives to Cointracts?

Three firms differ from Cointracts on its weakest attributes, the payout-timing conflict, the funded gates and the 2.1 rating, and each card names the difference.

  • Propr: payouts on demand from $20 with a public feed a journalist traced, no consistency rule, from $25; a British Virgin Islands firm whose 2-step floor trails.
  • Breakout: USDC on demand from $50 of profit, no consistency rule, Trustpilot 4.7, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company under Kraken’s ownership.
  • HyroTrader: payouts on demand once the funded account is in profit, Trustpilot 4.0 from 229 reviews, from $59; a UAE and BVI firm with no per-trade cap.

PropRubric’s ranking of the best crypto prop firms scores every firm on the same five criteria, set out in how PropRubric scores firms, and the cards above are where Cointracts’ three weak attributes are absent.
