Propr ranks #4 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the lists of on-chain crypto prop firms, crypto prop firms with daily payouts and crypto prop firms with no consistency rule.

Propr's homepage at PropRubric's last check Propr is an on-chain crypto prop firm registered in the British Virgin Islands that pays a flat 80% in USDC on Ethereum and publishes every payout on a transparency dashboard.

Yes, Propr is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm: its terms name the company, its payouts were traced on-chain by an independent reviewer, and its rulebook is public, while its terms call every payout a discretionary settlement. The firm sells four challenge families from $25, and it is built on-chain only on the payout side because every account is simulated.

The daily limit on every account resets at 00:00 UTC on a static or a trailing floor by plan, and the firm pays 80% in USDC within 24 hours with a $20 minimum. The firm restricts Nigeria and Pakistan, and its rulebook and terms disagree on copy trading. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

What is Propr?

Propr is a crypto prop firm that sells 1-step and 2-step challenges on every Hyperliquid perpetual, from crypto to equities, indices, commodities and FX, and pays 80% of simulated profits in USDC on Ethereum.

Propr Limited, registration number 2211330 in the British Virgin Islands, operates the service and states on every page that it is “not regulated by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission”; its founder, Louis Régis, publishes monthly revenue figures on X. The firm’s site is propr.xyz, its trading venue for the trades it copies is Hyperliquid, and its transparency dashboard reported 4,092 funded traders and $2.23 million of payouts on 29 September 2026.

How does Propr work?

Propr’s cycle has four steps, and each step is set out in the firm’s rulebook.

  1. Buy a challenge from $5,000 to $200,000 of simulated capital, priced from $25, in one of four families: Classic 1-Step, Turbo 1-Step, Pro 1-Step or Classic 2-Step, with no identity check at purchase.
  2. Pass the profit target of 9% to 12% by plan, or 5% then 10% on the 2-step, within the daily limit and the floor, with no minimum days: “you can pass in a single trade”.
  3. Verify your identity with an ID and a live selfie before the funded account is activated; failing the check forfeits pending rewards under clause 5.6 of the funded terms.
  4. Request a payout at any time from $20 of profit, receive 80% in USDC on-chain within 24 hours, and watch the balance reset to its starting amount, because every payout is a full sweep.

The step most buyers misread is the fourth, because “built on-chain” reads as if the positions were on-chain too, and the next section reads the documents on that point.

Is Propr really “built on-chain”?

Partly, Propr’s payouts settle on-chain in USDC and its hedges are visible on Hyperliquid, but every account is simulated and no trader holds a position, a key or an exchange account, per its risk disclaimer. The dashboard shows a transaction hash per payout, an A-book or B-book label per trade, and the hedging wallets the firm publishes.

The funded terms, modified 26 August 2026, say in clause 5.3 that “all approved Reward payouts are discretionary settlements for data generation”, so the firm may decline a payout that the chain would otherwise record.

Evidence

Three findings from the same reviewer sharpen the answer. Firstly, the reviewer traced the most recent of 4,431 payouts totalling $1,402,334 between 23 April and 7 September 2026 and found the figures matched to six decimal places. Secondly, one published Hyperliquid wallet held a short of 3,820.69 HYPE that the exchange’s public API matched with the same size and entry.

Finally, the A-book ratio the rulebook promises to publish returned the same value on every request and flagged itself as a fallback, and CryptoSlate reported in July 2026 that the firm copies roughly 5% of its signals to a live venue.

The three meanings of “on-chain” that firms use are compared on the page about on-chain crypto prop firms, where Propr’s payout proof is the strongest of the class.

How much does a Propr challenge cost?

Propr challenges cost $25 to $1,998, from the $5,000 Turbo 1-Step to the $200,000 Classic 1-Step, with a flat 80% split and no add-on to buy.

Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric

No add-on exists, and three price notes apply. The first price note is the promotion: a 20% discount ran on every challenge until 30 September 2026 at 23:59 UTC, and the list prices above are the ones recorded, because a promotion can end at any time. The firm also runs an affiliate programme, separate from any promotion, and has announced an airdrop, neither of which changes a fee. The second price note is the fee refund: fees are non-refundable once the account is activated.

The third price note is the funded cap: section 17 of the rulebook sets an aggregate funded balance of $300,000 across accounts, while the changelog entry of 25 February 2026 says $200,000, and PropRubric records both.

What does Propr cost per $10,000 of funding?

Propr costs $89.90 per $10,000 of funding on the $200,000 Turbo 1-Step and $100.00 on the $5,000 Turbo 1-Step, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price, divided by the account size in $10,000 units.

account sizeTurbo 1-StepPro 1-StepClassic 2-StepClassic 1-Step
$5,000$100.00$180.00$200.00$240.00
$10,000$100.00$170.00$200.00$220.00
$50,000$98.00$142.00$180.00$198.00
$100,000$90.00$139.80$149.80$199.80
$200,000$89.90$139.90$149.90$199.80

The Turbo plan is the cheapest funding at every size because its floor is the tightest, 3% against the Classic 1-Step’s 6%, and the price buys that floor. The floor decides whether a fee is ever recovered, and the rules are the next section.

What are Propr’s trading rules?

Propr’s trading rules are a daily limit of 3% or 5% reset at 00:00 UTC, a static floor on the three 1-step plans and a trailing floor on the 2-step, no consistency rule, no minimum days and no per-trade cap. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.

What are Propr’s drawdown limits?

Propr allows a 3% daily drawdown on the 1-step plans and 5% on the 2-step, and a maximum drawdown of 6% on the Classic 1-Step, 3% on the Turbo 1-Step, 5% on the Pro 1-Step and 8% on the Classic 2-Step, both checked against equity. The daily limit is a share of the start-of-day balance at 00:00 UTC, the 1-step floors are fixed at the starting balance, and the 2-step floor trails the equity high-water mark, floating profit included, until it reaches the starting balance.

The rule the homepage sells is “rules that don’t change”, and the rulebook keeps it for active funded accounts, which hold the rules in effect at activation under section 21. The record is less tidy: The Industry Spread reported on 7 September 2026 that the daily-loss calculation changed three times in 95 days, while the public changelog at PropRubric’s last check listed three entries in all, none of them a daily-loss change.

So the three changes are logged below as reported and unconfirmed; how a trailing floor and a static floor end accounts on different days is worked through on the page about trailing vs static drawdown in crypto prop challenges.

Which trading restrictions does Propr have?

PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at Propr, and the firm publishes all twelve, with one of them contradicted between its own documents.

  • Stop-loss required: ✗ not required.
  • Per-trade loss cap: ✗ none; position caps apply by market ($1 million on BTC and ETH, 5% of open interest on smaller markets, since 18 March 2026).
  • Consistency rule: ✗ none; Propr is one of the seven prop firms with no consistency rule on any plan.
  • Minimum trading days: ✗ none; “you can pass in a single trade”.
  • Time limit: none.
  • News trading: ✓ allowed.
  • Weekend holding: ✓ allowed; Hyperliquid funding rates pass through.
  • Hedging: ✗ not allowed across Propr accounts or against an external exchange account.
  • Copy trading: conflict; the rulebook (section 14) permits it “including between your own Propr accounts”, the terms (Annex 2, 26 August 2026) prohibit it between your own accounts and permit copying from one external account, and the terms govern under clause 19.3.
  • Bots and API: ✓ a developer API is published, and no rule bans automation.
  • Multiple accounts: ✓ allowed, up to the aggregate funded cap of $300,000 (rulebook) or $200,000 (changelog).
  • Prohibited strategies: exploiting errors, latency arbitrage, wash trading with yourself or a coordinated party, and account sharing.

The copy-trading conflict is the restriction to settle with support before funding two accounts, because the document that governs is the one that forbids it.

What can you trade at Propr, and with how much leverage?

You can trade every Hyperliquid perpetual at Propr, more than 200 listings across crypto, equities, indices, commodities and FX, at leverage set per asset group.

The rulebook’s section 12 graphic still shows “BTC & ETH 5x”, the v1.0 value, while its table says 10x, and PropRubric records the table. Hyperliquid’s maker and taker fees, which the table does not show, pass through at cost, with no markup, and no platform, data or inactivity fee is charged.

How do Propr payouts work?

Propr pays a flat 80% of profits in USDC on-chain, on demand with no waiting period, from a $20 minimum, and the firm states a payout time within 24 hours while its own dashboard reported a median of 18 minutes on 29 September 2026.

Payout terms

80% flatany time, no waiting periodon demand$20USDC on Ethereumwithin 24 hours stated; median 18m 13s (firm dashboard, 29 Sep 2026); median ~37 minutes across 449 payouts (The Industry Spread, 7 Sep 2026)public transparency dashboard with a transaction hash per payout

Three payout conditions apply, and the third is the one to read twice. Firstly, all positions have to be closed, and every payout sweeps the full profit, after which the balance resets to the starting amount. Secondly, identity verification has to be complete before a payout, and clause 5.6 of the funded terms says a failed check forfeits “all tracked metrics and pending Rewards”.

Finally, clause 5.3 makes each payout a discretionary settlement, so the chain records the payouts made and not the requests refused; the reviewer who traced the feed found 19 rejected requests listed without a stated reason.

Payout Junction, which counts only payouts matched to a public blockchain, listed Propr with $42,839 over 61 payouts at PropRubric’s last check, a different window from the firm’s own $2.23 million total.

Propr is the on-chain pick among the prop firms that pay out in crypto, and the split, the rail and the proof are compared on that page.

Who can trade with Propr?

Propr publishes 31 restricted jurisdictions plus any OFAC-sanctioned one, the United States is absent from that list, and Nigeria and Pakistan are on it. “Not listed as restricted” is not the same as “accepts US traders”, and the two named exclusions matter because both countries rank in the top five for searches about crypto prop firms.

Propr verifies identity after the evaluation and before the funded account, so a trader from a restricted country can pay a fee and pass before learning that the funded account cannot be activated, which is the sequence clause 5.6 describes.

Is Propr legit?

Yes, Propr is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm. The evidence is that its terms name Propr Limited in the British Virgin Islands, its payouts were traced on Ethereum by an independent reviewer, and its rulebook and changelog are public. The two cautions PropRubric found beside that evidence are a payout clause that makes every settlement discretionary and five contradictions between the firm’s own pages.

  • Status: active at PropRubric’s last check.
  • Operator and jurisdiction: Propr Limited, Reg. No. 2211330, Trinity Chambers, Road Town, British Virgin Islands; BVI law and courts with a class-action waiver; not regulated by the BVI Financial Services Commission, by its own statement; payments settled by Odeonpay ALE S.R.L. as merchant of record.
  • Operating since: rulebook v1.0 dated 25 February 2026; the first payout on the dashboard is dated 23 April 2026.
  • Payout evidence: on-chain, with a transaction hash per payout on the transparency dashboard; The Industry Spread traced 4,431 payouts totalling $1,402,334 between 23 April and 7 September 2026 and verified one to the cent; the dashboard reported $2.23 million on 29 September 2026, a firm-reported figure.
  • Complaint signal: Trustpilot 4.3 from 70 reviews at PropRubric’s last check, 86% five-star, with the firm replying to 100% of negative reviews; one-star reviews call the “on chain” claim misleading marketing; a sweep of 16 subreddits by the same reviewer found no funded trader describing a payout or lodging a complaint.
  • Contradictions found: “built onchain” against “100% simulated”; “rules that don’t change” against the three reported daily-loss changes; a $300,000 aggregate cap against the changelog’s $200,000; the section 12 graphic’s 5x against the table’s 10x; the rulebook’s copy trading permission against the terms’ prohibition.
  • Named people: Louis Régis, founder, who reported $1,085,676 of revenue for August 2026 on X; Abdelaziz Fathi, who wrote The Industry Spread’s review of 7 September 2026.

A firm’s rules and status change over time, so the last question is what has changed at Propr recently.

What are the alternatives to Propr?

Three firms differ from Propr on its weakest attributes, the intraday equity floor with no grace and the discretionary-payout clause, and each card names the difference.

  • Velotrade: static floors on every plan, USDC or USDT on Arbitrum with an Arbiscan link per payout, from $40; a Hong Kong firm with a qualifying-day rule and a cap on the first two payouts.
  • HyperPNL: USDC sent on-chain one request a day on Hyperliquid data, from $42; a Cayman Islands firm that publishes no contract address and sells only $5,000 to $25,000 accounts.
  • Breakout: static floors, 10x on BTC, USDC on Ethereum on demand from $50 of profit, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company under Kraken’s ownership with no public payout feed.

Propr ranks fourth among the best crypto prop firms on PropRubric’s five criteria, set out in how PropRubric verifies crypto prop firm rules, and the cards above are where its two weak attributes are absent. Its payout rail is compared with every other firm’s on the list of prop firms that pay out in crypto.
