Upscale Review 2026: Rules, Fees, Payouts and Is It Legit?

Upscale ranks #13 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the lists of prop firms that accept crypto payment and on-chain crypto prop firms.
Upscale is a Telegram-first web3 crypto prop firm under Seychelles law that sells two-stage, one-stage and instant accounts priced from $69 and pays 80% to 90% of simulated profits in USDT on TON, Base or BSC.
Yes, Upscale is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm: its terms are dated, its payouts show wallet addresses in a public feed, and its rules are on one page. Against the firm, it names no legal entity and its Trustpilot rating is withheld after fake reviews were removed. The firm markets “no KYC” while its terms require identity verification before a withdrawal. Before and after that verification, the daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC, and the floors are static on the evaluation plans and trailing on Turbo.
Payouts are capped per 14-day period by account size on every plan, and the terms exclude US residents. The rulebook requires five profit days before every payout. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

Upscale is a crypto prop firm that sells three account routes on more than 100 crypto pairs plus seven FX pairs, commodities, seven indices and twenty stocks, and pays 80% to 90% of simulated profits in USDT. The terms, last updated on 15 May 2026, name only “Upscale Trade”, state that the platform “is not licensed by any regulatory agency or authority”, and place disputes under the laws of the Republic of Seychelles.
No company name or registration number appears on the site, and the Trustpilot contact address is Seychelles. The firm’s homepage sells “no KYC” beside that Seychelles footer and a public payout feed, and its rewards page reported 1,298 payouts totalling more than $3 million with a 21-hour average on 29 September 2026, figures that are the firm’s own.
| operator | legal entity | operating since | status | category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upscale (upscale.trade) | not published (terms name “Upscale Trade”; Seychelles law and arbitration) | 2025 per Prop Firm Bridge; terms dated 15 May 2026; Trustpilot reviews from March 2026 | active | crypto-native, on-chain payouts |
How does Upscale work?
Upscale’s cycle has four steps, and each step is set out in the firm’s rules and withdrawal pages.
- Buy an account from $5,000 to $200,000, priced from $69 in the crypto category, on Basic (two stages), Accelerated (one stage) or Turbo (no evaluation, up to $100,000), signing in with Telegram, Google or a wallet.
- Pass the profit target of 5% then 8% (Basic) or 10% (Accelerated) on closed positions, with three or five profit days of at least 0.5% per stage; Turbo has no target.
- Trade the funded iteration for at least 14 calendar days and five profit days, staying above the iteration’s starting balance.
- Request a payout once per 14-day period, capped at a share of profit by account size, complete passport-and-selfie verification, and receive USDT on TON, Base or BSC.
The step most buyers misread is the fourth, because “no KYC” is on the homepage and the verification is in the terms, and the next section reads both.

Does Upscale really need no KYC?
No, Upscale requires identity verification before a withdrawal: its terms say so, while its FAQ and payouts page say no KYC is required. The terms clause is §6, dated 15 May 2026, and PropRubric follows the terms. The same terms (§1) require that “you are not a US resident”, against the FAQ’s line that “there are no geographic restrictions”.
What the public payout feed proves, terms aside, is that USDT left the firm’s wallets for the addresses shown; what it cannot show is whether any request was refused, and the feed’s totals are the firm’s own figures.
Evidence
| quote | source |
|---|---|
| “Before a withdrawal can be executed, the User must complete a standard Know Your Customer (‘KYC’) identity-verification procedure… a clear copy of the photo page of a valid passport together with a live selfie” | Upscale terms, §6 “Identity Verification (KYC) for Withdrawals” (last updated 15 May 2026) |
| “No. Upscale requires no KYC, documents or verification of any kind.” | Upscale FAQ, “Does Upscale require KYC or identity verification?” |
| “you are not a US resident” | Upscale terms, §1 “Eligibility” |
The two conflicts share a mechanism: the FAQ describes the sign-up, which asks for nothing, and the terms describe the withdrawal, which asks for a passport and a selfie and refuses citizens and residents of ineligible jurisdictions.
A trader can therefore buy, pass and reach a payout request before the rule that stops the payout is applied, which is the sequence the terms’ §6 describes when it says withdrawals “will not be processed” for those people.
The three meanings of “on-chain” that firms use are compared on the page about on-chain crypto prop firms, where Upscale is the “on-chain payouts only” case.

How much does an Upscale challenge cost?
Upscale challenges cost $69 to $1,499 in the crypto category, from the $5,000 Basic account to the $200,000 Accelerated account, and the 90% split add-on is bought at checkout.
| Account size | basic (crypto) | accelerated (crypto) | turbo (crypto) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $69 | $79 | $229 |
| $10,000 | $119 | $129 | $449 |
| $25,000 | $249 | $259 | $899 |
| $50,000 | $399 | $459 | $1,499 |
| $100,000 | $799 | $899 | $2,999 |
| $200,000 | $1,399 | $1,499 | — |
Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric
Two paid options exist, and three price notes apply. The options are the 90% split, priced at checkout, and the API Trading option, which adds a 30% single-day rule to the account. The first price note is the category of account: each route is sold as Crypto, RWA (cheaper) or ALL (dearer), and PropRubric records the crypto column. The second note is Turbo: the instant route is priced separately from $5,000 to $100,000 and carries the trailing floor described in the rules section.
The third note is the refund: no trader refund policy is published, and the terms give the platform a discretionary right to refund a fee and end the service mid-challenge, which is a termination right rather than a refund.
What does Upscale cost per $10,000 of funding?
Upscale costs $139.90 per $10,000 of funding on the $200,000 Basic account and $276.00 on the $5,000 Basic account, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price, plus the 90% add-on where chosen, divided by the account size in $10,000 units.
| account size | Basic (crypto) | Accelerated (crypto) |
|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $276.00 | $316.00 |
| $10,000 | $238.00 | $258.00 |
| $50,000 | $159.60 | $183.60 |
| $100,000 | $159.80 | $179.80 |
| $200,000 | $139.90 | $149.90 |
The per-period payout cap changes what these numbers buy: a $200,000 account is the cheapest funding per $10,000 and the most restricted at payout, with 15% of profit withdrawable per period. The floor decides whether any of that profit is ever made, and the rules are the next section.
What are Upscale’s trading rules?
Upscale’s trading rules are a daily limit measured from the balance at the start of the UTC day, a static floor on Basic and Accelerated and a trailing floor on Turbo. The rules add profit-day minimums at every stage, no per-trade cap and a 30% single-day rule on Turbo and API accounts. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.

| Account limits | combined $400K notional for Basic + Accelerated funded accounts; separate $100K for Turbo | upscale.trade |
What are Upscale’s drawdown limits?
Upscale allows a 5% daily drawdown on Basic and 3% on Accelerated, with no daily limit on Turbo, and a 10% maximum drawdown on Basic and 6% on Accelerated and Turbo, and both are checked including unrealised profit and loss. The daily limit is a share of the balance at the start of the UTC day, and the Basic and Accelerated floors are fixed at the starting balance. The Turbo floor sits 6% below the highest balance and is recalculated from the new starting balance after each payout.
The Turbo floor is the value to model before choosing the instant route: a trader who gives back profit after a new high faces a tighter buffer than on a static plan, and each payout restarts the reference from a lower balance. How a trailing floor and a static floor end accounts on different days is worked through on the page about trailing vs static drawdown in crypto prop challenges.
Which trading restrictions does Upscale have?
PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at Upscale, and the firm publishes eleven; copy trading is the one it does not cover as a rule.
- Stop-loss required: ✗ not required; no limit on position size within the available leverage.
- Per-trade loss cap: ✗ none.
- Consistency rule: ✓ 30% single-day cap on Turbo accounts and on accounts with the API option; none otherwise.
- Profit days: ✓ 3 (Stage 1) and 5 (Stage 2) on Basic, 3 on Accelerated, 5 before every payout on any funded account; a profit day is a balance change of at least 0.5% of the starting balance.
- Time limit: none; an account with no trades for 90 days is frozen.
- News trading: ✓ allowed.
- Weekend holding: ✓ crypto 24/7; index positions opened in the Friday close window are force-closed.
- Hedging: ✓ within one account; ✗ across accounts.
- Copy trading: not offered as a rule; the API option covers automation.
- Bots and API: ✓ with the paid API Trading option, which adds the 30% rule and a 60-second profit adjustment.
- Multiple accounts: ✓ up to $400,000 combined notional on Basic and Accelerated funded accounts, plus $100,000 on Turbo.
- Restoration: paid restoration of some breached Basic or Accelerated funded accounts, offered for up to 48 hours.
The profit-day rule is the restriction the “no weeks of waiting” line omits: five days of at least 0.5% each sit before every payout, not only the first, so a funded account that makes its profit in one session waits for four more green days.
What can you trade at Upscale, and with how much leverage?
You can trade more than 100 crypto pairs at Upscale, plus seven FX pairs, commodities, seven indices and twenty stocks that trade 24/7. Every pair is priced from the Stork and Pyth oracles and the firm’s own price index rather than an exchange, at leverage that halves on Turbo.
| market | Basic / Accelerated | Turbo |
|---|---|---|
| crypto | 5x | 2x |
| forex | 100x | 30x |
| US indices | 15x | 5x |
Fees are 0.008% per open or close on the evaluation routes and 0.06% on Turbo, and the platform is the firm’s TradingView-based web terminal, a Telegram mini-app and a Base app.
How do Upscale payouts work?
Upscale pays 80% of profits, rising to 90% with the add-on, in USDT on TON, Base or BSC, one request per 14-day period from a $1 minimum. Each payout is capped at a share of profit that falls from 50% on a $5,000 account to 15% on $200,000, and each payout starts a new trading iteration.
Payout terms
| split | first payout | frequency | minimum | currency + network | speed | proof |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80% → 90% (add-on) | 14 calendar days after funding plus 5 profit days | one request per 14-day period, restarting after each payout | $1 | USDT on TON, Base or BSC | “within 48 hours” (payouts page); 21 h average (firm feed, 29 Sep 2026) | public feed with wallet addresses (firm-reported totals) |
Three payout conditions apply, and the third is the one to read twice. Firstly, the current balance has to be above the starting balance of the current iteration before a payout request, with five profit days earned and no breach. Secondly, passport-and-selfie verification has to be complete before the same request, or the request stays in “Pending KYC”. Finally, the payout cap applies to each request per period and is computed from the account’s starting balance, not its current one.
The cap is $2,500 on $5,000 (50%), $4,000 on $10,000 (40%), $10,000 on $25,000 (40%), $12,500 on $50,000 (25%), $20,000 on $100,000 (20%) and $30,000 on $200,000 (15%). After a payout, the new iteration’s starting balance is the balance after the payout and the maximum drawdown is recalculated from it.
Payout Junction, which counts only payouts matched to a public blockchain wallet, did not list Upscale at PropRubric’s last check. The split, the rail and the proof are compared across every firm on the page about how crypto prop firm payouts work.
Who can trade with Upscale?
No, Upscale’s terms (§1) require that you are not a US resident and exclude residents of countries under US, UK or EU embargo and anyone on a sanctions list, while its FAQ says the platform has no geographic restrictions. The contract wins over the FAQ, and the KYC step at withdrawal is where the rule is applied.
Who can join
| US status | restricted countries | KYC timing | platform exceptions |
|---|---|---|---|
| no (terms §1) | US residents; residents, nationals or agents of countries under US, UK or EU embargo or sanctions; persons on US, UK, EU or UN sanctions lists | before a withdrawal (passport photo page + live selfie; reviewed within 48 business hours) | none; web terminal, Telegram mini-app, Base app |
Upscale verifies identity at the first withdrawal rather than at purchase, so a trader from an ineligible jurisdiction learns of the exclusion after paying and passing, which is the order the terms set.
Is Upscale legit?
Yes, Upscale is a legitimate, operating crypto prop firm. The evidence is that its terms are dated and governed by Seychelles law, its payout feed shows wallet addresses, and Trustpilot reviewers report withdrawals. The two cautions PropRubric found beside that evidence are an operator with no published legal entity, and a Trustpilot rating withheld after fake reviews were removed.
- Status: active at PropRubric’s last check.
- Operator and jurisdiction: not published; the terms name “Upscale Trade”, disclaim any licence, and choose Seychelles law with arbitration in Victoria; the Trustpilot contact is Seychelles and Prop Firm Bridge records the United Arab Emirates.
- Operating since: 2025 per Prop Firm Bridge; the earliest Trustpilot review is from March 2026 and the terms are dated 15 May 2026.
- Payout evidence: a public feed with wallet addresses; firm-reported 1,298 payouts, $3 million and a 21-hour average on 29 September 2026; absent from Payout Junction at PropRubric’s last check.
- Complaint signal: Trustpilot showed “rating unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines” with the notice “We’ve removed a number of fake reviews for this company”, 11 reviews in twelve months, at PropRubric’s last check; one two-star review describes an outage in April 2026 that the firm attributed to a DDoS attack; Prop Firm Bridge scored the firm 26 out of 100 on 15 September 2026.
- Contradictions found: “no KYC” against terms §6; “no geographic restrictions” against terms §1; “payouts within 48 hours” against the 14-day period; “up to $400K” against the per-period caps.
- Named people: none on the site or in the pages read; Prop Firm Bridge’s research team wrote the review cited.
A firm’s rules and status change over time, so the last question is what has changed at Upscale recently.
What has changed at Upscale?
Upscale’s change log holds 3 rows since PropRubric’s first check on 29 September 2026, of which 0 are firm-side rule changes; the rest are PropRubric’s corrections and additions to its own record. The rows include the Turbo route’s sizes, which the FAQ listed to $25,000 on the first read and to $100,000 a day later.

What are the alternatives to Upscale?
Three firms differ from Upscale on its weakest attributes, the per-period payout caps, the KYC and residency conflicts, and the withheld rating, and each card names the difference.
- Propr: no payout cap, a $20 minimum, on demand, from $25; a British Virgin Islands firm whose 2-step floor trails.
- Velotrade: an Arbiscan link on every payout and no cap from the third payout, from $40; a Hong Kong firm with a qualifying-day rule.
- Breakout: no cap, on demand from $50 of profit, the United States not listed as restricted, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company under Kraken’s ownership.
PropRubric’s ranking of the best crypto prop firms scores every firm on the same five criteria, set out in how PropRubric verifies crypto prop firm rules, and the cards above are where Upscale’s three weak attributes are absent.
