TradeXProp ranks #18 of 18 crypto-first and on-chain firms on PropRubric's list of the best crypto prop firms.

TradeXProp's homepage at PropRubric's last check TradeXProp is a Malaysian-run white label of Prop Account, LLC that sells crypto challenges priced from $35 next to its forex programmes and pays 90% of simulated profits from the first payout.

Yes, TradeXProp is a legitimate, operating prop firm: its evaluation page names the company that takes the fee, its rules are in a public FAQ, and Trustpilot reviewers describe repeated payouts under those rules. TradeXProp’s “Pass in 1 Day” cards contradict its own daily cap, and its “zero denied payouts” claim sits beside two payout denials. The firm’s funded accounts are “notionally-funded” by its FAQ, and its daily cap of 3% works in both directions and resets at 5 PM New York time.

The floors are static, and funded withdrawals are allowed once per 30 days. The firm excludes only OFAC-listed countries, and its rulebook bans opening a position on a funded account within three minutes of a news event, a window few crypto prop firms keep. Compare it with all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks before you choose.

What is TradeXProp?

TradeXProp is a prop firm that sells a crypto-only challenge in two versions, the X-1 Step and the X-2 Step, from $5,000 to $200,000, beside separate forex and instant-funded programmes that this review does not cover, and pays 90% of simulated profits. The firm describes itself as “an affiliate of Prop Account, LLC”: evaluations and fees go to Prop Account, LLC, funded traders sign with Prop Account LC, and the group includes Prop Account Cayman LC and Forest Park FX LTD, trading as Dashboard Analytix.

The Trustpilot contact address for the trading name is in Kuching, Malaysia, and the Trustpilot category is “Educational Institution”. The firm’s own words for its product, under that category, are “a demo trading evaluation program” with “a virtual profit split based on the virtual profits generated in their X Trader Account”.

How does TradeXProp work?

TradeXProp’s cycle has four steps, and each step is set out in the firm’s crypto FAQ.

  1. Buy a challenge from $5,000 to $200,000, priced from $35, on the X-1 Step (one phase) or the X-2 Step (two phases), traded on Match-Trader, DXtrade or cTrader.
  2. Pass the profit target of 9% (X-1) or 6% then 9% (X-2) without breaching the static floor, while the ±3% daily cap limits how far equity may move each day.
  3. Complete KYC and sign the Trader Agreement with Prop Account LC after passing, before the funded account is issued.
  4. Request a withdrawal of the funded account’s gains from the dashboard, no more often than once per 30 days, in crypto or in fiat through Riseworks.

The step most buyers misread is the second, because the cards say “Pass in 1 Day”, and the next section does the arithmetic.

Can you really pass TradeXProp’s crypto challenge in one day?

No, TradeXProp’s ±3% daily cap makes a one-day pass impossible. Under that daily cap, equity moving more than 3% of the starting balance from the previous day’s equity, in either direction, closes positions and locks the account until the next day. Under the cap, the 9% X-1 Step target needs at least three days and the 6% then 9% X-2 Step at least five. The firm’s FAQ states the daily cap rule in full: the cap “is calculated using the previous day’s equity, which resets at 5 PM EST”.

A move “in excess of 3% of your starting balance from your previous day’s equity in either direction” closes positions and locks the account “until the start of the new trading day at 5 PM EST”. The evaluation page’s card reads “Pass in 1 Day” beside “Daily Cap +/-3%”.

Evidence

“Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited.”TradeXProp crypto FAQ, “Can I trade during news events?”

The cap is not a loss limit: it caps profit too, so a day that gains 3.1% is closed and locked, which is why the target arithmetic runs in whole days rather than in trades. A second rule the “no hidden rules” page omits is the news window, three minutes either side of an event the firm decides counts, with the position closed and the account “subject to” action when a trader opens one inside it.

PropRubric’s ranking of the best crypto prop firms lists TradeXProp as the forex-firm-with-a-crypto-challenge case, and its price is the next section.

How much does a TradeXProp challenge cost?

TradeXProp’s crypto challenges cost $35 to $2,150, from the $5,000 X-2 Step to the $200,000 X-1 Step, with no add-on on the crypto challenge itself and a “Payout Protector” add-on sold for the funded stage.

$10,000$95$80
$25,000$250$210

$100,000$1,050$900
$200,000$2,150$2,000

Values from each firm's own pages, checked by PropRubric

One add-on exists, and three price notes apply. The add-on is Payout Protector, which lets a funded trader receive a payout on accumulated gains after a hard breach that would otherwise forfeit them, priced at checkout. The first price note is the top tier’s checkout price: the $200,000 challenge costs more than twice the $100,000 one on both plans, which reverses the usual discount for size.

The second note is the discount: a 40% promotion on evaluations was running at PropRubric’s last check, and the list prices above are the ones recorded. The third note is the refund: none once login details are emailed, and possible only when no trades were placed.

What does TradeXProp cost per $10,000 of funding?

TradeXProp costs $140.00 per $10,000 of funding on the $5,000 X-2 Step and $215.00 on the $200,000 X-1 Step, computed as the fee plus one reset at the same price, divided by the account size in $10,000 units.

account sizeX-2 StepX-1 Step
$5,000$140.00$180.00
$10,000$160.00$190.00
$50,000$172.00$210.00
$100,000$180.00$210.00
$200,000$200.00$215.00

The ladder rises per $10,000 as the account grows, the opposite of most firms’, so the smallest account is the cheapest funding per unit. The floor and the cap decide whether any funding fee is recovered, and the rules are the next section.

What are TradeXProp’s trading rules?

TradeXProp’s trading rules are a two-directional 3% daily cap reset at 5 PM New York time, a static floor of 6% or 9%, no minimum days on paper, a three-minute news window, a 30-day inactivity breach and a ban on copy trading across accounts. The three sections below cover those rules: the drawdown limits, the restrictions and the instruments.

What are TradeXProp’s drawdown limits?

TradeXProp allows equity to move 3% of the starting balance from the previous day’s equity, up or down, and a 6% maximum drawdown on the X-1 Step and 9% on the X-2 Step, and the two work differently. The daily cap closes positions and locks the account for the day in either direction, and the maximum floor is static, “the same value as long as the account remains active”, however high the closed balance goes.

The two-directional cap is the rule that separates this firm from every other in PropRubric’s census, and it changes the meaning of “daily drawdown” enough that the page about daily drawdown in crypto prop challenges treats it as its own case.

Which trading restrictions does TradeXProp have?

PropRubric checks twelve restriction rules at TradeXProp, and the firm publishes ten; the per-trade cap and the bots rule are not stated.

  • Stop-loss required: ✗ not required.
  • Per-trade loss cap: not published.
  • Consistency rule: a 45% consistency score on the evaluation offer card, and the FAQ refers to “new funded with Consistency Rule”; the crypto pages do not state it.
  • Minimum trading days: none stated; the cards say “Pass in 1 Day” and the cap makes three the minimum.
  • Time limit: none; 30 consecutive days without trading activity breaches the account.
  • News trading: ✗ opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a news event is prohibited, and the firm decides what counts as an event.
  • Weekend holding: ✓ positions can be held over the weekend.
  • Hedging: ✓ within one account (“not a prohibited trading activity”); ✗ a buy on one account and a sell on another, “reverse trading / group hedging”.
  • Copy trading: ✗ mirroring other traders across accounts prohibited; EAs “that facilitate copy trading” prohibited.
  • Bots and API: not published beyond the copy-trading line.
  • Multiple accounts: merging requests at the company’s discretion; the firm may “disallow or block any Trader from participating in the program for any reason”.
  • Prohibited strategies: “gambling practices” such as “all-in” trading and excessive leverage; the company or its liquidity provider may refuse any order.

The “for any reason” clause is the restriction to read before buying, because it places the decision to fund a passed evaluation at the company’s “sole and absolute discretion”.

What can you trade at TradeXProp, and with how much leverage?

You can trade crypto-versus-USD symbols at TradeXProp, from AAVE and ADA to BTC and ETH, on Match-Trader, DXtrade or cTrader, at leverage up to 5:1.

The funded account is “notional and may not match the amount of capital on deposit with the Liquidity Provider”, per the FAQ, which is the firm’s own description of what “backed by our capital” means.

How do TradeXProp payouts work?

TradeXProp pays 90% of a funded account’s gains, on request from the dashboard no more often than once per 30 days, in crypto or in fiat through Riseworks, and its evaluation card promises an “Instant First Payout” that the FAQ does not define.

Payout terms

Three payout conditions apply. Firstly, the account has to be within its limits at the withdrawal request, because a hard breach forfeits accumulated gains unless the trader bought Payout Protector. Secondly, the 30-day spacing applies from the previous withdrawal request. Finally, the firm’s risk team reviews the request and the account’s activity for copy trading and group hedging before paying, which is the reason it gave for two payout denials on Trustpilot in August 2026 while declining to disclose its detection methods.

Payout Junction, which counts only payouts matched to a public blockchain wallet, did not list TradeXProp at PropRubric’s last check. The split, the rail and the proof are compared across every firm on the page about how crypto prop firm payouts work.

Who can trade with TradeXProp?

TradeXProp’s FAQ says traders “from all countries, excluding OFAC listed countries, can take part”, “unless otherwise limited at the Company’s discretion”. PropRubric records the US status as not published because no list names the United States either way. The identity check comes after passing, together with the Trader Agreement, and no list is shown then either.

A Trustpilot reviewer described the admin team resolving a KYC problem through Discord in January 2026, which is the support channel the firm’s reviews name most often, together with WhatsApp.

Is TradeXProp legit?

Yes, TradeXProp is a legitimate, operating prop firm. The evidence is that its evaluation page names Prop Account, LLC as the company that takes the fee, its rules are in a public FAQ, and Trustpilot reviewers describe first and second payouts. The two cautions PropRubric found beside that evidence are a marketing card that promises what the rulebook forbids, and a “zero denied payouts” claim that the firm’s own replies to denied traders contradict.

  • Status: active at PropRubric’s last check.
  • Operator and jurisdiction: Prop Account, LLC, with Prop Account LC for funded accounts and group companies in the Cayman Islands and elsewhere; TradeXProp operates from Kuching, Malaysia, per its Trustpilot contact details; the firm calls itself unregulated and “an affiliate”.
  • Operating since: 2023; the homepage says “since 2023” and the Trustpilot profile was claimed in March 2023.
  • Payout evidence: reviewer screenshots and firm posts; no on-chain record; absent from Payout Junction at PropRubric’s last check.
  • Complaint signal: Trustpilot 4.0 from 40 reviews at PropRubric’s last check, 12 within twelve months, with review invitations and replies to 66% of negative reviews; two one-star reviews in August 2026 describe denied payouts, one from a trader with three or four prior payouts, and the firm’s reply cites copy trading and group hedging without disclosing its method; a Reddit thread of 2025 calls the firm “pretty sketchy”; Propvator scored sentiment 3 out of 5 on 9 August 2026.
  • Contradictions found: “Pass in 1 Day” against the ±3% cap; “no hidden rules” against the three-minute news window; “zero denied payouts” against the August 2026 denials; “backed by our capital” against “notionally-funded”.
  • Named people: a reviewer names “Dixon” as the owner, which PropRubric does not repeat as fact because no firm page names him; Eman Abpeikaran wrote the Propvator review cited.

A firm’s rules and status change over time, so the last question is what has changed at TradeXProp recently.

What are the alternatives to TradeXProp?

Three firms differ from TradeXProp on its weakest attributes, the two-directional daily cap, the unpublished payout terms and the white-label operator, and each card names the difference.

  • Breakout: a one-directional 3% daily limit, static floors and published payout terms with USDC on demand, from $20; a Delaware evaluation company under Kraken’s ownership.
  • Velotrade: static floors and an Arbiscan link on every payout, from $40; a Hong Kong firm with a qualifying-day rule.
  • Kraken Prop: an exchange-run storefront with no consistency rule and a 24-hour payout guarantee, from $20; the same Breakout programme sold inside Kraken Pro.

PropRubric’s ranking of the best crypto prop firms scores every firm on the same five criteria, set out in how PropRubric verifies crypto prop firm rules, and the cards above are where TradeXProp’s three weak attributes are absent.
