Affiliate link: PropRubric may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. It never changes a score or a ranking.
BrightFunded is one of the multi-asset firms with a crypto offer that PropRubric tracks beside the crypto-first ranking of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the lists of forex prop firms with crypto trading, free crypto prop firm challenges, trials and competitions and prop firms that accept crypto payment.
Yes, BrightFunded allows crypto trading on all of its challenges, with 48 crypto pairs against the US dollar at 1:5 leverage that may be traded and held over weekends.
BrightFunded is a Dubai prop firm, Bright Global FZCO, whose CFD trading is contracted by BrightFunded Ltd in Saint Lucia, and its accounts are simulated. The firm publishes no crypto commission or swap rate, pays rewards in one coin, USDC on the ERC-20 network, while it accepts seven coins at checkout, and its Trustpilot rating is withheld after fake reviews were removed. Use these terms to choose between BrightFunded and the forex prop firms offering crypto pairs.
At a glance
| crypto allowed | instruments | crypto leverage | weekend | crypto commission | crypto payouts | crypto checkout |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| yes, 1-Step and 2-Step | 48 crypto CFD pairs vs USD | 1:5 (challenge and funded) | traded and held | not published | USDC (ERC-20) only; bank in EUR | BTC (incl. Lightning), USDT, USDC, ETH, LTC, TRX, SOL |
Does BrightFunded allow crypto trading?
Yes, BrightFunded allows crypto trading on its three challenges, the 1-Step and the two 2-Step models, through 48 crypto pairs quoted against the US dollar. BrightFunded’s crypto instruments are CFDs in what its help centre calls an “online demo trading evaluation firm”, and the same pairs and leverage apply in the challenge and on the funded account.
| BrightFunded challenge | crypto allowed | crypto leverage | rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step | yes | 1:5 | 10% target, 3% daily, 6% trailing |
| 2-Step Bright | yes | 1:5 | 8% then 5%, 4% daily, 8% maximum |
| 2-Step Classic | yes | 1:5 | 10% then 5%, 5% daily, 10% maximum |
Forty-eight pairs is the widest coin list among the multi-asset firms PropRubric checked, which makes the list itself the first thing to read before comparing all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks.

Which cryptocurrencies can you trade at BrightFunded?
BrightFunded lists 48 crypto pairs against the US dollar, in a help article updated on 25 May 2026 that says “We currently have over 48 cryptocurrency pairs, including” the list below.
| group | pairs |
|---|---|
| majors | BTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, XRP/USD, BNB/USD, ADA/USD, XDG/USD (Dogecoin), LTC/USD, BCH/USD, TRX/USD |
| layer-1 and layer-2 networks | AVAX/USD, DOT/USD, NEAR/USD, ATOM/USD, ALGO/USD, ICP/USD, SUI/USD, SEI/USD, STX/USD, EGLD/USD, ARB/USD, OP/USD, MATIC/USD, HBAR/USD, XLM/USD, XTZ/USD, VET/USD, NEO/USD, ETC/USD, INJ/USD |
| DeFi tokens | AAVE/USD, UNI/USD, COMP/USD, CRV/USD, DYDX/USD, LDO/USD, SNX/USD, RUNE/USD, WOO/USD, PYTH/USD |
| other | LINK/USD, FIL/USD, GRT/USD, RNDR/USD, MANA/USD, SAND/USD, DASH/USD, XMR/USD |
The grouping is PropRubric’s; the 48 symbols are the firm’s. A symbol list that includes DeFi and layer-2 tokens goes beyond the two to thirty coins most forex-first firms carry, and the leverage on all 48 is the same.
What leverage does BrightFunded offer on crypto?
BrightFunded offers 1:5 leverage on all crypto pairs, in the challenge and on the funded account, against 1:100 on forex.
| asset | leverage | margin |
|---|---|---|
| crypto (all 48 pairs) | 1:5 | 20% of the position’s value |
| forex | 1:100 | 1% |
A Benzinga overview of 9 April 2025 still gives “1:10 on crypto”, and the help centre’s current figure is 1:5, so a bitcoin position of $50,000 needs $10,000 of margin today. That margin and leverage hold through the weekend, which is the next question.
Can you trade crypto on weekends at BrightFunded?
Yes, BrightFunded allows crypto trading on weekends, and its help article says crypto may be traded and held over the weekend, while forex and other markets close. BrightFunded’s daily loss limit is calculated from the higher of equity or balance at the start of each day, so a weekend crypto day is a day like any other for the limit.
The firm lists a 5-minute trading restriction around news and does not say which instruments it covers, so a crypto trader should treat high-impact US releases as covered until BrightFunded support says otherwise. The cost BrightFunded charges on a weekend position is the next question.
What does crypto trading cost at BrightFunded?
Crypto trading at BrightFunded costs a commission and an overnight swap that the firm does not publish in its help centre, so the only fixed cost on record is the challenge fee.
| cost | crypto at BrightFunded |
|---|---|
| commission | not published by the firm |
| swap | not published by the firm |
| spread | live only |
The challenge fee is billed in euros, and the prices below are the list prices at PropRubric’s last check, when the firm was running a 30% anniversary promotion, which PropRubric does not apply.
| account size | 1-Step | 2-Step Bright | 2-Step Classic |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | €49 | €47 | €49 |
| $10,000 | €97 | €87 | €97 |
| $25,000 | €197 | €187 | €197 |
| $50,000 | €297 | €277 | €297 |
| $100,000 | €497 | €477 | €497 |
| $200,000 | €997 | €947 | €997 |
BrightFunded refunds the fee only when no trade was placed and the request comes within 30 days of purchase, and its homepage advertises a “100% Challenge Fee Refund” whose conditions PropRubric has not read. The rules that fee buys come next.
Do BrightFunded’s challenge rules change for crypto?
No, BrightFunded’s challenge rules do not change for crypto, and the 1:5 leverage is the only crypto-specific term.
| rule | 1-Step | 2-Step Bright | 2-Step Classic |
|---|---|---|---|
| profit target | 10% | 8% then 5% | 10% then 5% |
| daily loss | 3% | 4% | 5% |
| maximum loss | 6%, trailing until equity is 6% above the start, then fixed | 8% | 10% |
| minimum days | none | 5 | 5 |
| time limit | unlimited | unlimited | unlimited |
| crypto leverage | 1:5 | 1:5 | 1:5 |
BrightFunded starts traders at up to $400,000 of simulated capital, with a scaling plan above that.
Can US traders trade crypto at BrightFunded?
Partly: US traders are not on BrightFunded’s restricted-country list, but the site footer excludes US and UAE residents and citizens from its MT5 services, so they trade crypto only on its other platforms. The restricted list names Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Vietnam, plus Pakistan for new accounts. The payout rail for those accounts is the same in every country.
Does BrightFunded pay out in crypto?
Yes, BrightFunded pays out crypto rewards in USDC on the ERC-20 network, its only coin, and bank transfers in euros. The first reward comes 30 days after the first trade on the funded account, then every 14 days, with weekly and bi-weekly add-ons sold at checkout.
Payout terms
| split | first reward | frequency | minimum | crypto coin and network | bank |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80%, up to 90% | 30 days after the first funded trade | every 14 days; weekly or bi-weekly with an add-on | none (“even $0.01”) | USDC, ERC-20 only | euros |
Payouts in USDC on Ethereum carry the network’s gas cost on the way out, and BrightFunded does not say who pays it. Firms that pay in USDT on cheaper networks are compared on the list of prop firms that pay out in crypto.
Can you pay for a BrightFunded challenge with crypto?
Yes, BrightFunded accepts seven coins at checkout: Bitcoin (including Lightning), USDT on Tron, USDC on ERC-20, Ether, Litecoin, Tron and Solana. The asymmetry is the point to note, seven coins in and one coin out. The coins in, firm by firm, are compared on the list of prop firms that take crypto for challenges.
Crypto at BrightFunded is a wide CFD list inside a multi-asset firm, which raises the last question: is BrightFunded a crypto prop firm at all?
Is BrightFunded a crypto prop firm?
No, BrightFunded is a multi-asset prop firm with the widest crypto list of its group, not a crypto-only firm. Its Trustpilot profile showed “This company’s rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines” and “We’ve removed a number of fake reviews for this company”, 571 reviews, a notice the Prop Firm Bridge review of September 2026 also reports.
Two census members beat BrightFunded on that trust signal and on payout coins, two of the five criteria in how PropRubric scores firms.
- HyroTrader, registered in the UAE, pays in USDT or USDC within 24 hours on demand and holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.0 from 229 reviews, as the HyroTrader review explains.
- Bitfunded, a UAE company, pays in USDT within 24 hours and holds 4.3 from 206 reviews, as the Bitfunded review on payouts and status explains.
The rule differences between multi-asset and crypto-only firms are set out in crypto prop firms vs forex prop firms.
