E8 Markets Crypto Trading 2026: Leverage, Rules and Payouts
E8 Markets is one of the multi-asset firms with a crypto offer that PropRubric tracks beside the crypto-first ranking of the best crypto prop firms. It also appears on the lists of crypto prop firms for US traders and one-step crypto prop firms.
Yes, E8 Markets allows crypto trading through its Perpetual accounts, E8 One and E8 Pro, which replaced the firm’s “Crypto” accounts in September 2026 and price every crypto perpetual from Hyperliquid’s data feed, 24/7.
E8 Markets is a US prop firm, E8 Funding LLC, and its accounts are simulated: the perpetuals carry Hyperliquid’s prices, spreads and funding rates, but no order reaches Hyperliquid.
Bitcoin and ether trade at 1:15 and other crypto at 1:2, the trading fee is 0.045% for market orders and 0.015% for limit orders, the rules match E8’s Forex accounts, and payouts reach crypto only through Rise. Use these terms to choose between E8 Markets and the multi-asset prop firms that trade crypto.
At a glance
| crypto allowed | instrument | price source | BTC / ETH leverage | other crypto | weekend | crypto fees | platform | crypto payouts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| yes, E8 One and E8 Pro Perpetual (crypto CFDs at 1:1 on Forex accounts) | perpetual futures, simulated | Hyperliquid data feed | 1:15 | 1:2 | 24/7 | 0.045% taker / 0.015% maker | E8 Terminal only | via Rise (cash or crypto); no direct crypto |
Does E8 Markets allow crypto trading?
Yes, E8 Markets allows crypto trading on its E8 One Perpetual and E8 Pro Perpetual accounts, and on crypto CFDs at 1:1 inside its Forex accounts. E8 Markets’ crypto perpetuals are simulated futures contracts without an expiry date, priced from Hyperliquid, and its help article says the Perpetual market “replaces the existing Crypto market and expands the available instruments to include cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices, and metals”.
| E8 Markets account | market | crypto | note |
|---|---|---|---|
| E8 One | Perpetual | yes, BTC and ETH 1:15, other crypto 1:2 | the market is chosen at checkout |
| E8 Pro | Perpetual | yes, same leverage | static drawdown, daily payouts |
| E8 One, E8 Pro, E8 Signature | Forex (Classic Markets) | crypto CFDs at 1:1 | Signature is sold on Forex only |
| E8 One Crypto, E8 Pro Crypto, E8 Signature Crypto | retired | no longer sold | listed under the help centre’s “Legacy products” |
The retirement is the fact most third-party pages miss, because the comparison pages that rank for “e8 markets crypto” still describe the old E8 Crypto accounts. The Perpetual accounts are the ones to compare against all crypto prop firms PropRubric tracks.
Which cryptocurrencies can you trade at E8 Markets?
E8 Markets lists “major and altcoin perpetuals” on its Perpetual market and publishes no count of them. The homepage ticker showed seven crypto markets, BTCUSD, ETHUSD, BNBUSD, XRPUSD, SOLUSD, ADAUSD and DOGEUSD, and the markets explorer at trade.e8markets.com shows the full list live, including altcoins such as AAVEUSD and ARWUSD. The perpetual list follows Hyperliquid’s listings, which is the next question.

Are E8 Markets’ crypto perpetuals traded on Hyperliquid?
No, E8 Markets’ perpetuals are simulated positions priced from Hyperliquid’s data feed, not orders on Hyperliquid: “the data is real, the capital is not.” E8’s help centre lists four things the feed carries into the simulation.
- Prices follow Hyperliquid’s market as it moves.
- Spreads and funding rates “behave as they would in a live environment”.
- Slippage “can occur, just as it would in a real market”.
- Capital stays simulated, because “no real funds are deployed on your behalf at any point”.
The Prop Journalist’s launch note of 9 September 2026 puts it the same way: “E8 traders are not trading directly on Hyperliquid with real funds, but the simulated environment uses real market data from the exchange.” A trader who wants an account or payouts that can be checked on Hyperliquid itself needs one of the on-chain firms at the bottom of this page. The leverage E8 sets on the feed comes next on this page.
What leverage does E8 Markets offer on crypto?
E8 Markets offers 1:15 leverage on bitcoin and ether perpetuals and 1:2 on every other crypto perpetual, on both E8 One and E8 Pro, and 1:1 on crypto CFDs inside a Forex account.
| E8 Markets account | bitcoin | ether | other crypto |
|---|---|---|---|
| E8 One or E8 Pro, Perpetual | 1:15 | 1:15 | 1:2 |
| E8 One, E8 Pro or E8 Signature, Forex | 1:1 | 1:1 | 1:1 |
Per-instrument position caps on the Perpetual market follow Hyperliquid’s order-book depth, and Perpetual accounts run a netting system only, so a long and a short on one symbol cannot be held at once. The 1:15 bitcoin leverage applies to positions held through the weekend too.
Can you trade crypto on weekends at E8 Markets?
Yes, E8 Markets allows crypto trading on weekends on both Perpetual accounts. Its E8 Pro page says “Crypto never sleeps — keep trading straight through the weekend, no restrictions.” E8 Markets’ perpetuals run 24/7 with no server close, and weekend holding is allowed on E8 One and E8 Pro.
The one clock that matters is the daily drawdown reset, which E8 sets “every new day at 00:00 Server Time” from the day’s starting balance, without naming the server’s time zone in its help centre. A trader who holds bitcoin through Saturday night should read the server clock in E8 Terminal before relying on a reset, because the daily limit starts again at that moment while the market keeps moving. Weekend holding costs the same fees as weekday trading, which the next section prices.
What does crypto trading cost at E8 Markets?
Crypto trading at E8 Markets costs 0.045% of the position’s notional value on market orders and 0.015% on limit orders, the same structure as Hyperliquid’s own fees, plus funding at Hyperliquid’s rates on open positions.
| cost | crypto perpetuals | other perpetuals (stocks, indices, metals, oil) |
|---|---|---|
| taker fee (market orders) | 0.045% of notional | 0.009% |
| maker fee (limit orders) | 0.015% of notional | 0.003% |
| spread | “usually around 1 tick for major instruments” | same |
| funding | as on Hyperliquid | as on Hyperliquid |
The challenge fee is the fixed cost, and the list prices below are the configurator’s defaults (6% drawdown, 80% payout); other drawdown and payout settings change the price.
| account size | E8 One Perpetual | E8 Pro Perpetual |
|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $48 | $28 |
| $10,000 | $88 | $59 |
| $25,000 | $188 | $138 |
| $50,000 | $288 | $218 |
| $100,000 | $488 | $468 |
| $200,000 | $798 | $949 |
| $400,000 | $1,598 | $1,999 |
| $500,000 | $1,998 | $2,469 |
A 10% first-order discount ran on the configurator at the time of reading, and launch discounts of 30% to 50% circulated in September; the list prices above are the ones recorded. The recorded fee buys the same rules as a Forex account, set out next.
Do E8 Markets’ challenge rules change for crypto?
No, E8 Markets’ challenge rules do not change for crypto. Its help centre says the market choice changes the instruments and fees while “drawdowns and overall trading rules, payout mechanism remain the same”, and the drawdown setting chosen at checkout moves the target with it.
| rule | E8 One Perpetual ($100K, 6% drawdown) | E8 Pro (help centre, 8% drawdown) |
|---|---|---|
| profit target | 9% | 8% (6% at the 6% drawdown setting) |
| maximum loss | 6% dynamic, trails closed profits, locks at the initial balance | 8% static; moves to the initial balance after the first payout |
| daily loss limit | 4% of the starting balance | 2.5% of the initial balance |
| daily reset | 00:00 server time | same |
| daily profit cap | none | 2% of the initial balance counts per day |
| consistency rule | best day 40% at payout (funded) | none |
| minimum trading days | none; “pass in as little as 1 day” | none |
| inactivity | one closed trade every 60 days | same |
| news trading | funded: ±5 minutes around high-impact news | unrestricted |
| copy trading | between your own accounts | same |
The daily profit cap is the rule that shapes crypto trading on E8 Pro, because a bitcoin day that makes 5% still counts only 2% toward the target, so an 8% target takes at least 4 trading days. Both accounts and their trading days are open to American traders.
Can US traders trade crypto at E8 Markets?
Yes, US traders can trade crypto at E8 Markets, because the United States is not on its restricted-country list and the firm offers a US-only payout rail, Aeropay. E8 Markets’ accepted-countries article adds that Rise, its main payout partner, does not serve every US state, and the restricted list names Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates among 35 countries. The payout rails are the next question.
Does E8 Markets pay out in crypto?
Yes, through Rise only: E8 Markets pays out through partners, and Rise lets a trader receive “cash or cryptocurrency”, while the payouts article says “There are no direct crypto payment solutions”. The homepage’s line “100% real cash and crypto payouts” refers to that Rise route.
Payout terms
| split | E8 One frequency | E8 Pro frequency | minimum | rails | speed (firm data, 1 Jan – 1 May 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80% default, 90% or 100% at checkout | on demand once the 40% best-day rule is met; first in as little as 3 days | daily; 1% of the initial balance; 50% of profit requestable | $100 per request ($125 at an 80% split) | Rise (cash or crypto), WorkMarket (US bank), Aeropay (US) | median 11 hours to approval, 24 hours to funds; up to 5 business days |
E8 Pro’s payout keeps the other 50% of profit in the account as a drawdown buffer once the static floor moves to the initial balance. Firms whose payouts go straight to a crypto wallet are compared on the list of prop firms that pay out in crypto.
Can you pay for an E8 Markets challenge with crypto?
Yes, E8 Markets shows Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDC beside cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Aeropay on its checkout, and states no separate fee for paying with crypto. Paying for a challenge in crypto does not change the payout rail, which stays with Rise. Paying in crypto at the other firms is compared on the list of prop firms where you can pay in crypto.
Crypto at E8 Markets comes as simulated perpetuals inside a platform that also lists stocks, indices, metals and forex, which raises the last question: is E8 Markets a crypto prop firm at all?
Is E8 Markets a crypto prop firm?
No, E8 Markets is a multi-asset prop firm that calls its platform “SimFi” and offers crypto perpetuals as one of five asset groups. For a crypto trader, the gap with a firm built around Hyperliquid is verification: E8’s feed is real, but neither the account nor the payout leaves a record on Hyperliquid.
Two firms in PropRubric’s census close that gap on the attribute E8 Markets lacks, an account or payout visible on-chain, which is one input to the transparency criterion in how PropRubric scores firms.
- Propr, registered in the British Virgin Islands, pays out in USDC on-chain with a $20 minimum, and a third-party review traced its payouts on the blockchain, as the review of Propr’s on-chain crypto funding explains.
- HyperPNL, registered in the Cayman Islands, sells funding built on Hyperliquid data with crypto leverage up to 20x and USDC payouts, as the HyperPNL review of on-chain Hyperliquid funding explains.
The five members of that group are compared on the list of on-chain crypto prop firms, and the rule differences between multi-asset and crypto-only firms are set out in crypto prop firms vs forex prop firms.
